A game I requested was supposed to be sent out to me on Jan. 26th. The seller supplied a tracking number, but it has not been updated since the 26th of Jan. It just says the USPS was electronically notified by the shipper, blah blah.
I only have six days left to post feedback. I don't want to give this user undeserved negative as it appears they shipped it, but I also do not want to lose my points.
I'm unsure about what to do. Is there a way for the user to not receive negative and me not lose my points?
Thanks for the help, and sorry if something like this has already been answered...I couldn't find it.
You just have to wait it out unfortunately. The USPS tracking system can be pretty terrible at times. I had a game delivered to me, and there was still no tracking information for it on their website. If you don't receive the game by the last day, then by all means, leave a negative.
Just wait until about 2 days before the trade is supposed to close, if you still haven't received the game give a negative feed back, no game received. If you get it, you can change it if you receive it a couple days later.
Shipping info received just means the shipper has created a tag for it and placed it on the package. This does not mean he drove to the mail box and dropped it off. It should have already been sorted at least once through his local post office. I have sent out 10 games since Monday Feb 1 and most have already arrived.
ditto whats been said. If you don't get it, leave a negative. The "electronic info received" message just means they printed a label at home, not that they actually shipped. Many times the package will not get scanned along the way until it reaches you.
Also, few people here use the PM system for some reason. I usually send the person a PM if there's any issue or if things don't seem to be progressing at a normal speed. Sometimes people just forget to do everything they are supposed to do on their end.
Thanks everyone for the advice. I was actually wondering what was meant by the "usps has been notified by the shipper" message, so thanks for clearing that up.
