Oh Man BC I feel your pain!

I would say go with a new 360 personally (its worked well for me) and go for the return after 30 days.

Look on the bright side though.  This snow we are getting is pretty wet and heavy, so there is a good chance that you may not have any power to run a 360....

So here is what happened:

-I bought an xbox arcade

-then power went out so I started to read a book

-Power came back on and I saw a few voted in favor of my misery

-which led to some comfort beer...and then the super bowl happened and it was bed time

The xbox still sits unopened.  Not sure when I'll bust it open...

Update #2:

Got the replacement xbox today.  That was pretty quick turnaround imo with little pain other than to get to a UPS store.  Guess I'll need to return that unopened Xbox Arcade I got way back when it was a snowy doomsday.

These past 10 days or so without playing on the Xbox was kind of refreshing.  I read a book, watched some classic movies and generally became a non-gamer.  But the vacation is over and it's time to start smashing some buttons!

It was not for nothing!

1. I found out 13.8% of you think I am a moran
2. 3.1% of you revel in my misery
3. 32.3% of you could be good friends of mine

But most of all...I found out that most of you cared.  You see when Conan was asked what's best in life and replied "to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of their women..." I know now that is not the right way to think. I can see he just didn't have a lot of love in his heart.  And dangit, I'm tearing up here thinking that I even got one vote let alone 65 from people who took the time to hear me at such a low point.  So say goodbye vengeful spirit and evil mind -- no longer will I suffer under your oppressive heel.  Say hello to the Coyote that will always believe in a pot of gold at the end of everyday's rainbow.  You can count on me to have smile (except to those 3.1% -- I will find out who you are and you better not be on the gteam raaaaarrrrrrr)
