Hi I am new to the site and I have some questions. First of all, if I send a game and it works fine, can the receiver still mark it negative? I mean if he marks it negative does he have to send it back or something? I mean what if someone gets the game but just feels like marking it negative? I'm asking this because I want to be sure that I don't lose the game I send and not get the points. Thanks for your answers.

When a user marks a game as negative, that usually means the game didn't work. You can dispute that negative (since you know it did work), and there will be two choices.

The user can send the game to Goozex, and Goozex will test the game. If Goozex finds that the game does not work, then the negative stands and the user gets his points back (and you would lose any you gained from it). If you want, you can have Goozex send the game back to you (you pay for shipping).

If Goozex finds that the game works fine, then the negative is reverted, you get your points, and the Buyer has the option of getting the game back from Goozex (at his cost).

Instead of going through Goozex, users can opt to work it out on their own, usually meaning he sends the game back to you and then having the trade cancelled.

If it's a negative because the game wasn't received then that means either you didn't send it, or it was lost in the mail. If the game was lost in the mail, your Delivery Confirmation (which you should always buy) will show that you sent it, and you'll receive points and a positive feedback.

If it was a negative because of it being a wrong item, the same process goes on that was done for a broken game.

Goozex does everything they can to protect both the Buyer and Seller during these transactions.

If someone leaves a negative you can dispute the neg and it will then be escalated to goozex.  If they deem the negative was incorrect than you will get your points.

Thanks both of you for your answers. It clearly answered my question. I have one last question. If I recieve a game and it works, but I don't like the state of the game, meaning there are too many scratches, can I send it back?

No, the most you can do is leave a Positive +5 which says "The product I received plays perfectly and the condition is as I requested, but the overall package quality is not as good as expected"

They still get full points and positive feedback, but only 5 feedback points as opposed to the full 10.

Sorry to bother, but do also know the average shipping cost for one dvd/game.

Depends on how you do it. Goozex offers a shipping label print out through Paypal which is usually the cheapest option, I think.

Direct through Paypal yourself might be a little cheaper than that.

At the post office, it's around $2.70 with the delivery confirmation. The delivery confirmation is around $0.60-0.70 at the post office, and maybe half that through Paypal (which is why it's cheaper).

I've never paid more than $2.70 for a standard game/movie.
