lol, everyone knows my feelings about MW2...but it's nice to see the buzz fade on that title already. I actually have it heading my way now, as I did enjoy the Spec Ops portion, but I'll likely turn it around shortly afterwards. From what I've heard, not completing the story isn't a huge loss.
Halos. All of them. I have ODST currently and after an hour and a half of playing it, I don't think I've got much interest to plow through it, let alone attempt the multiplayer on LIVE...lest I want to be rolled by trash talking 12 yr olds. Grow some facial hair!!!
L4D2. Loved, loved, loved the original, but the fact that they threw up this 'sequel' a year to the day later with few changes made me instantly loathe this relatively new money grabbing scheme from STEAM. Nevertheless, I was insisted upon to try it...and try it I did. Didn't care for the characters, setting, daylight, melee addition, and even the feel of the game felt a little off. Felt like I was on ice or something. Either way, I'd of rather had seen the SDK released on time and have some nice mod content and dev support from the original rather than this half assed sequel.
I'm not terribly critical on most titles though, so if the vast majority tend to like a game, generally I'll find something to enjoy as well. MW2 just crossed too many lines, and Halo seems a bit generic to me. L4D2 was just a moneygrab after a surprisingly hot title before it.

Any Zelda after 2 (yes I liked 2, they tried something different, which should be commended, it has since become remarkably stale)
Any FPS that wasn't Half-Life 2 (especially Halo and CoD)
Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, et all...
Devil May Cry

I hate how people do this, as if RE4 is the best RE.....sigh. RE4 represents everything that went wrong with the series and turned it from survival horror to an extremely easy action game. RE used to have its players scared to play it. Most of you who are old enough to remember playing this game when it first came out most likely shat your pants the first time the dogs jumped through the windows in that now famous hallway. You were also nervous because you had to really ration your ammo and herbs, otherwise you would be forced to limp around trying to knife fight the tyrant. For me things like that made RE a great game and from there the series just headed down hill. DAMN YOU RE4!!!

Pretty much everything produced by Valve. HL, HL2, Portal, and L4D are all complete garbage IMO. Portal especially irks me because it became more about the meme, than the quality of gameplay. I found that the free "flash portal" web game was superior and more challenging.

Word!
When the spiders fell off the ceiling in the first one I screamed and dropped the controller, then was like "oh crap!" and grabbed it before they killed me
Portal? Really? Portal??? I can't help but think that most of these answers are either done purely for shock value, or most of you are just completely insane.
Maybe you were playing the game on SUPER EASY MODE, but otherwise you could very easily run out of ammo in RE4.

You've clearly never played RE. I do not play games on easy, it just isn't difficult to get headshots. That game is an embarrassment to true RE fans. end of convo.
I guess this thread goes to show that you never know what people are going to like. I wonder how many of the SHOCKING claims are meant just to do that, shock people.
And who the heck gave this thread 1 star? My butt! :)
probably because its flame bait.
Halo 3 (Single Player)
Crappy graphics and the game have no soul or story.
I loved the original Halo but this one was more geared towards multiplayer and I don't do multiplayer.
criminolelawyer:RE used to have its players scared to play it.
Yes, they where so scared that they stopped the buying the game after RE 2.
I thought of a couple more. The Metroid Prime games I don't like at all, and I'm not sure if this falls under "Sacred Cow" or not, but I never liked any of the Star Fox games.

...or other possibilities: people bought into the hype thinking "Game X" was the greatest game ever, only to be disappointed. Other people just get sick of hearing a overly vocal community shower praise on a game and curse said game more due to the fan-base than bad game design.
