I've been wondering how exactly this works. If I put in a 'disk only' request, then am I in line for possibly receiving full disk or disc+manual when my turn in line comes up? I understand when you request full package that's the only thing you'll ever get. But it somewhat seems pointless to be in line for a disk only without the possibility of receiving a full or partial package since you're basically saying, "I will take only a disk if that's all there is, but if something better is available I will take it." So how exactly does disk only work?

Disc only requests will be matched with anything that is available, but you won't necessarily get the "best" option. For example, if a game has offers for both full package and disc only, it's likely that the disc only ones will be first in line and that's the one you'll be matched with.

You might want to check the availability of the game you're looking for, and just use disc only requests if you're far back in the queue and want to speed up the process.
