Hey guys/gals.  Unfortunately it doesn't look like I will be able to make it for U2 tonite :(  Sorry.  Hope that doesn't screw up any match rooms already planned.

Any idea how many Goozex Points 'more free time' is going for these days??

Damn sorry guys, my router decided to die on me and my PS3 refuses to connect directly to my cable modem. Guess I'm sitting this one out :( Have fun!

Even though I played terribad, I had fun on my first Goozex MP night!  About the only thing I could do well was melee Mecha to death.  :)

I had a lot of fun. Dropped from 1st after the first game to 4th after the third so I couldn't advance. Success. I would've liked to play longer for fun, but I had been holding off dinner for too long.

RPGs only is a particular flavor of U2 I haven't played until tonight.  From now on, i'm definitely putting that in the rotation whenever we break out U2 in the future.  Apologies to Akronon: I thought I could fire a RPG through your chest and hit the opponent on the other side of you....my bad.

I'm adding Clockwork-Zombie to my "to murder in cold blood" list along with BFZ....team killing bastards. 

That was probably the biggest turnout we've had for the PS3 MP night - thanks to everyone for showing up and playing tonight!

Same for me; I have only played the game for a few days, but it reminded me a lot of the Unreal Tournament rocket only matches. Good times, even though I kinda sucked :)

I have a new nemesis, and his name is PcktLnt (PocketLint?). Every time I turned around, he was there to blow me apart.

The last remnants of us just finished up the night. Was a lot of fun.   I'm not sure what our end count was but it was somewhere around 32 I think, a new high for us. 

Coordinating 4 separate Uncharted 2 rooms, using 3 text chat rooms, and successfully doing the Chinese fire drill to make a finals room is nothign short of a miracle.  Much props go to pro9wu for again organizing a very difficult event, and to Mecha and Kilpon for helping out as room leaders.   And thanks for all the participants patience during the organization.  Remarkably we didnt stray too far off our timetables and all of our prelim rounds ended around the same time.

Highlight of the night:   RPG match with Neko as my teammate, an enemy rocket is headed towards me, Neko elects to shoot his rocket at me and kill me first before the enemy rocket can, so they don't get the kill point.  From the "We've got to burn this village to save it" strategy guide I guess.

Next week: Fat Princess!  Sign up by posting on the thread.  No rest for the weary,, pro9wu does back to back week duty and is organizing this one as well.

I had a great time this evening. I am very thankful that everyone that participated was very patient with us as we organized the chaos. I definitely couldn't have done it all by myself. Thanks to Hatter, Mecha, and Kilpon for hosting rooms and for being the hall monitors in all 3 text chat rooms.
