For anyone new to the Goozex MP nights, please be sure to read the instructions on page one of the thread.

A few notes for all who may be attending tomorrow:

• We're likely going to be at capacity for players.  MW2 private games can handle up to 18 people and we have around 30 expressing interest.  Some may run late, others may leave early and a few may not be able to make it at the last moment.  We'll see how this goes tomorrow and if anyone is unable to join the game because it's full, I apologize and will try and keep you informed when a spot is open to join.

• Start time is at 8:30 PM EST.  Very likely i'll be on PSN a little early for last minute preparations and to open up the game just before the start time.  Check my status in your friends list (if you have added me - you will need to do so to join) and once you see me in a MW2 match, feel free to join and we will get the MP night started.  I'll be hosting until at least 10:30 PM EST and will try to stay up later if we have a good turnout.

• If you plan to attend, make sure there's a reference to both your PSN ID and your Goozex ID that I can locate and better track attendance for the MP night.  Easiest way to do this is to post a message to this thread with your PSN ID, if you have not done so already.  I have sent a couple of messages over PSN to people who have sent me friend invites, whose Goozex account names I cannot identify.

• Again, read the instructions on page 1 of this thread.  Keep in mind that we'll be coordinating by using a text chat room "Goozex MP night".  As people sign in, i'll be sending invites to join the chat room.   If we run into an issue where the game is full, I can use the chat room to communicate when spots are available, if we're switching the game/map or if there are any technical difficulties.

• To reiterate from an earlier post:  play hard, but have fun and keep everything friendly.

just added mech.  im up to play tom but it sounds like there will be too many people as is.  if anyone wants to play any other time though im on quite a bit.

I think probably what will end up happening is that there will end up being 2 hosts which will probably get sorted out in the text chat room.

Having someone as a backup host would be a good idea.  By my count, we're around 34 - counting all the maybes.

There may be no need for them to actually host, depending on how things turn out, but being prepared is a plus.

I'm sad. I don't think I'll be able to participate. This sounds like an awesome turn out too. No copies available at Hollywood and Blockbuster and Gamestop has no used ones. Still have a few more shots for tomorrow (three Gamestops on the way back home from school).

A slew of announcements!

First off, it looks like we're probably heading into our biggest PS3 MP Night yet with Modern Warfare 2 tonight.  I thsuld be fun, and this makes it an apt week to announce a few things.

Blackcoyote and Goozex have graciously agreed to sponsor PS3 MP Wednesday nights for the month of March and reward participation with prizes!

Starting tonight through the end of the month, you can

• Receive 1 trade token for each week that you participate in a PS3 Wednesday Night
• If it is your first time participating in a PS3 night, you get 2 trade tokens instead of 1!

This is in addition to your chance to win Neko's Mystery Prize by getting a chance to guess the mystery number form 1-100.

Also as an additional bonus as gratitude for the hard work they've put in, that week's organizer will also receive 2 trade tokens instead of 1.  Sometime tomorrow I'll post a FAQ/Guide to what the organizer's specific responsibilities are.

(Please note these token prizes are not retroactive.  So you don't get anything for your participation from the January an February events.  Also you need to participate for at leats an hour to be eligible.  No logging, on playing one 5 minute deathmatch and logging off.  Remember, these nights are primiarliy about fun and playign with other Goozers.  The prizes are just a bonus.)

Good news indeed.  I'm still on par for being there tonight...though it's going to take a lot of internal fortitude to play MW2 over BC2... I hope the turnout makes the decision worthwhile!

im getting BFBC 2 just paid for it and its being shipped... il "Host" (from playing the demo there was no private match... so basically all will be on the same squad so no problems there) a night. this might sound weird but im free every odd day (except 11th and 25th of march and the 2nd of april) till april then im free every even day... pick a date when ever hopefully the game comes in within a week... il msg back when i got it...
