Why are we eschewing BP nights? I see people asking for it, but it keeps getting bumped from the lineup!

If anyone has heard my Goozcast, they know that it is one of my favorite games, and I would definitely like to play with Goozers more often. Even outside of PS3 MP Nights.

Sorry about coming late tonight, I thought I updated but I guess I was wrong... my dumb internet disconnected me at the end there.

We did pretty good co-oping. I thought we lose on the 2nd match in the subway map, But we got through no problem. *high 5*

We had a Burnout night last week if I remember. This post is usually on the top for the PS3 console forum and my PSN user ID forum has linked to this post also. We're trying to get more and more people aware but we can only do so much.

Who knows, pending if we have people enough who have cops and robber DLC, I might join in outside of official PS3 nights.

Regarding Resistance 2, I had fun even though I only manage to get in one game but at least we completed it *mission complete*.

I would join in for MW2 but I only have that for the PC. I might rent it though and depending on how I get use to the controls (since every fps/tps the aiming speed feels so different for me) I may join in. But right now I've been busy doing part time job to get extra money since I'm still unemployed.

I'll try to make it for MW2 night... how long do these nights last usually?  I don't know if I will be home from work by 8:30 EST...

Count me in for this MW2 tomfoolery.  It would be neat to run around with a bunch of Goozers against those who'd stand against us.

If R2 was worth repeating, I may end up nabbing it in time for the next round....I felt odd not taking part in a week of this madness.

Depending on the turnout, my thought was to have a inter-Goozex scrimmage if we have more than 8.  Anything less (or if/when we dwindle down) and we can go public against some outside competition.  Be sure to wear a [GOZX] clan tag or you may be assaulted by wild zebras.

Just based on personal preference: expect Team Death Match, Domination and Ground War game types.  Drop a post/message if there are any suggestions.  Anyone looking to join for next week, shoot me a friend invite (if you haven't already) and identify "Goozex" in the body of the message.

Count me in (psn: kwaz28)- and I suggest using the Mosh Pit option...

Edit:  I'm always up for MW2 anytime I'm at my PS3 - just send a message saying you're willing to be a human pincushion, and we'll get our game on.

I'm debating whether or not I want to spend any time getting up from level 1, or just winging it when we get there.

Definitely level up a bit - at least focus on a single gun to unlock attachments so you have some flexibility of going silent, Red Dot Sight, and/or having the grenade launcher.  Wouldn't hurt to have some of the higher level perks unlocked either.

I only play occasionally, so I never bothered prestiging.  I did that once in the first Modern Warfare, and regretted it immensely (losing the frag x 3 perk sucked).

In any case, level up a bit to get the perks you want, and focus on a single gun...  Shouldn't take you too long to unlock the important ones (RDS/Grenade launcher/silencer).

Edit:  I'll play along with you to help you level...

Haven't had a lot of time for gaming the past few weeks, but will try and make this one.    I'm terrible though.

It's variable.  The last couple of weeks i've been on until 10:30-11:00 pm.  If we've got a good group going, i'll try and stay up later to play.

Invite sent.  This one may be possible later on, if we go public.  Initially, I wanted everyone to meet up in a private game and scrimmage for a bit.  I don't think Mosh Pit game type is available with private games.  I'm open to switching game types as we go, but wanted to keep it simple off the start.

A couple of other important notes (Hatter, please copy to the OP):

As with other PS3 multiplayer nights, the group will use the text chat room "Goozex MP night" to keep us in contact from outside the game. I'll try and keep on top of the invites as people start logging into PSN/MW2.

Getting into the private game can be accomplished through the friends list.  Once you have MW2 loaded up and your in the multipayer section, go to your friends list , push X on my name/tag, then hit "Menu(Modern Warfare 2)".  Chose "Join Session" and it should get you in the private game.

Try and keep the teams even - if you see a couple of people have dropped from the other team and our 6 on 6 has become a 6 on 4, kindly switch teams to keep things balanced.

Keep things friendly.  It's fine to play to win and have a little talking of the smack, but keep it lighthearted.

I might be interested in this if I can find the time.    Lately that's been pretty difficult though, and I have a couple plumbing projects I still have to get at.  :(

Correct me if I'm wrong - but wouldn't I start off at level 1 in a private game?  Or am I thinking of something different?
