Decided to download to latest R2 updates before calling it a night.  First one (of 2) is a nice hefty 304 MB. 

Definitely allow some time for updates before playing tonight.

Looks like im ou too.  My bro let his friend borrow my copy of R2 and I just found out today.  Unless I can get over to his house and get it back from him than it looks like ill see you guys on MW2 night.

I may  run a little late, but I should be on tonight for R2.

The 60GB YLOD'd for a 3rd time this morning and I made an impuse decision to stop on the way back home and cancel a couple pre-orders to pick up a new slim.  Just got it set up a few minutes ago and in process of restoring data from an external HDD to the slim.

The 60GB may be put to good use - going to try and get it operational again and trade it in to Gamestop.  With a promo they're running right now I may be able to get close to $200 for it and pick up a 360 Arcade for peanuts.

Was a mixed bag tonight.

On the plus side it was a pretty decent turnout, 10 people showed up during the course of the night, with a maximum of 8 at any given time.  

On the downside, we (or mostly me) were fighting connection issues and problems joining parties and inviting people for a lot of the beginning.  Which is strange because I don't remeber those issues back when I used to play before.   Also whenever the party leader dropped, the game would inevitable pick the one player without a mic or the lowest ranking player wihtotu all the levels unlocked to be the new party leader.

After a few matches, it seemed to stabilizes and the tail end of the night went pretty well.    Definitely was fun when everything was going well.   Hopefully the next time Resistance 2 night comes aroud, the parites and invites will go smoother.

To all the participants, if your participation made you eligible for a prize, Neko Tech will PM you and ask for your guess of a number between 1 and 100 (don't guess the numbers already guessed, you can see them in the first post.).  If your guess is right, the mystery prize is yours!

Next week is Modern Warfare 2, post here or let Mechazawa005 know if you'd like to participate!  This is supposedly the game many peopel were clamoring to have an MP night for, so here it is finally!

EDIT: also what time did you want to start MW2 next week, Mecha?

8:30 PM EST should work fine for MW2.  I may be on earlier if anyone feels like getting some practice in.

Depending on the turnout, my thought was to have a inter-Goozex scrimmage if we have more than 8.  Anything less (or if/when we dwindle down) and we can go public against some outside competition.  Be sure to wear a [GOZX] clan tag or you may be assaulted by wild zebras.

Just based on personal preference: expect Team Death Match, Domination and Ground War game types.  Drop a post/message if there are any suggestions.  Anyone looking to join for next week, shoot me a friend invite (if you haven't already) and identify "Goozex" in the body of the message.
