Hmmm...if that's the case then I'll likely buy it.  A shame I already own a small part of it.  Would be nice to give that piece to someone else.

Won't be able to stay past 9:30, so I'll be hopping on at 8:30. Sorry I didn't post sooner, my computers have been acting up, and Goozex's forums is a little too flash-based for the iPod Touch.

I just hopped on for a short while to try out some of that DLC I just bought.  $20 for all that is a killer deal.  I didn't see any patches required though, short of dl'ing the 500k unlocks for the new DLC, and I haven't played it some time.   Hopefully this doesn't trip me up later.

While I was fooling around, I sent dev a quick invite and got my 10 showtimes, so it looks like I just need the wildcats and mugshot trophies!

the DLC only unlocks the content. all those previous patches you downloaded contained the important stuff. v1.90 is like 300 MB because it contains the island

For those playing tonight, Mecha's car is going to be the one that overheats midway through a race, shuts off, and has its yellow hazard lights come on.

EDIT: meh, dont have the ability to get rid of the gray background for the sushi icon at work.

Please...no more flashing yellow lights. 

We had a turnout of 8 and for my first time going any serious MP in Burnout, I had a hell of alot of fun.  My desire to get the trophy for inviting a friend turned into me being the impromptu host.  Hopefully everyone had a good time with the different challenges and game modes.

I'd definitely be down for BP gain on a future MP night.

A couple notes:

• Thanks to everyone who came out for last night's Burnout Paradise night.  Wish I could have been there; sounded fun.  If you participated and qualified under Neko's rule to make a guess to win Neko Tech's  mystery prize, Neko Tech will PM you and ask for your guess of a number from 1 to 100.  If you guess the right number, you win!  (By the way, don't guess the numbers htat people have already guessed.  You can see the list of incorrect guesses from last week on the first post.)

• Resistance 2 is next week, and I'm organizing it.  If you'd like to join in, post here and let us know if youre a yes (prize-eligible) or a even maybe.

• The week after that is Modern Warfare 2 and unless I hear differently, Mechazawa005 is still heading that week.   We have chosen MAG to be the following week, so hopefully your MAG requests on Goozex will come through by then.  PSWii60 Elite, head of the Goozex MAG clan, is organizing that week.  Note that we will be playing on SVER faction, so join that faction.

This was also my first real dive into MP BP and I loved it.  Did we have 8?  I thought it was 7 and a fellow from the public.  He worked out alright though.  We did have 8 Goozers for a short while though I recall.  That was a good 2 hours of gameplay though and I'll certainly be up for some more of it.  I enjoyed being able to hear people on the mike too; I guess BP's voice capabilities are a bit better than Uncharted 2's, as nothing else changed on my end (maybe these players had better mics?  I couldn't hear anyone in UC2 is all).

I also noticed that 5 of our 8 had Big Surf Island, something I wouldn't mind fiddling with in the future.  I bought that DLC pack yesterday and it was a killer deal, even having already owned the Legendary cars.  A big suggested buy from me....the island alone is neat enough, though I'd like to try some cops and robbers next time.

Was worried we'd never get that Wildcats trophy when out 8th ran off at the last moment to change their car, but all was well, and I got my plat!  Was also surprised we did so well at so many of those challenges.  Short of being hunted for the first hour by Neko....lol, it was a grand time.  I hope we can throw this one back into the mix soon.  The overall turnouts to these events has been quite spectacular, given it's history, and I hope this continues overall.

Unfortunately, I'm out for both R2 and MAG as I don't have those titles, but I'll hold on to MW2 long enough to get one PS3 night in before I ship it back out.
