Wednesday they released update 1.04 for Uncharted 2 to accomodate the new DLC for the game (You can buy multiplayer skins of characters from the inFamous, Killzone and Resistance series) After you download and install the update, connecting to multiplayer online the first time may take longer than usual as it syncs the server info.

Unfortunately, looks like I won't be able to make it! (Week days are just my weak days for gaming!).

Hope you guys have a great time, though! Survivor mode is, I've been finding, my favorite mode to play.

Well put me down for this Wed. I just unwrapped my copy of UC2 (bought it on release date ) couple days ago and installed the updates.

As part of the ongoing effort to revive PS3 Multiplayer nights, I think we're going to make Wednesday nights arbitrarily the weekly night.

Also, several Goozex members have agreed to help out with being the designated weekly organizers in the coming weeks.  We're announcing what the upcoming weeks' games will be in advance too so that Goozers who don't have the game either because they never had it or they traded it away, wil have an opportunity to request it and get it in time to join in on the fun. :)  That way more people can participate.

Here's the upcoming schedule:

Wed Feb 3rd, 830p EST - Uncharted 2 : Organizer - sterlingdax

Wed Feb 10th , 830p EST - Fat Princess : Organizer - Neko Tech (PSN ID: Bontakun-007), available on PS Store

Wed Feb 17th, 9p EST - Burnout Paradise : Organizer - devyanks90, available on PS Store or Request it here!

Wed Feb 24th, Time TBD - Resistance 2 : Organizer - mhatter106, Request it here!

Games were chosen based off this thread, where ppl listed what games they had for the PS3 online.  Except Resistance 2.  That was me being really self indulgent.

I'll be updating the OP after this.

Anyways, thanks to sterling, neko, and devyanks for helping out.  More volunteers for being a weekly organizer are welcome!

Reminder to chime in on the thread if you'd like to play some Uncharted with other Goozers this Wednesday night!

I'm in the same boat.  Perhaps a more regular UC2 night is in order?  Perhaps another thread is in order as well...?

Also, is there another way to deal with this weekly endeavor rather than a 7 page thread?

There does seem to be enough interest to have an Uncharted 2 night just about every week, that would be fun.

As far as the matches, I think a few have expressed interest in both, so why start out with some co-op until the latecomers get there, then move to competitive, or vice-versa? The idea is for everyone to have a good time, and other Goozers to play with, so it doesn't really matter at all.

And yeah, Hatter's goal is to update the title and 1st post every week so tons-o-searching isn't the norm.

I'm all for some Co-op, as I haven't played that mode yet, but with the number of people that have voiced interest, a competitive room would fit most of us far nicer than splitting off into 3 or 4 rooms.

I'm strongly working on being there, I'll even be setting a reminder on my cell phone.  My own personal hurdle with these things is not a lack of interest, but rather the fact that I'm a consoler 2nd, PC gamer 1st, so I often outright forget these events until after the fact, with no method to be reminded.

Trying to rent a copy from my local Hollywood Videos. I don't know if I will make it, everytime I go, it's always rented out and my copy will not be arriving till Friday (earliest). T__T
