I've seen a lot of his movies and am always impressed by his performance.
Christopher Walken flicks. I don't go out and see every one of them... because there's a lot. However, if I'm looking for a movie, on tv or what not, even if it looks just horrible, I'll usually watch it still on the merit of Walken's in it.
My only real attachment to The Village is the quality of the performances.
I'll also give most movies/shows with either Ryan Reynolds or Nathan Fillion a shot.

I see a lot of theatre on the back of the talent in the productions. George Hearn is incredible. I tend to have a hard time enjoying a show or movie if it doesn't have good acting... which kills about 80% of hollywood's movies for me.
Same thing with videogames... I can't enjoy them if the voice acting makes me want to stab my own eardrums just to get away from it.
I watched Stay yesterday. Wasn't a particularly good film in itself, but Ryan Gosling and Ewan McGregor were pretty good.
i don't if i watch a movie because of the acting, but i can appreciate a movie for the acting in it even if i didn't find it particularly enjoyable myself.
I don't watch a movie specifically for the actors in it but I will check out a movie I have not heard of if by a particular director.

Yeah Forrest is the man, he carried that movie (way over the top/unrealistic)

There Will Be Blood is definitely one of the best acted movies of all time
"Bastard in a basket" was hooked on that phrase for weeks, calling my cat that name til my girlfriend yelled at me to stop.
Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, ill see their movies cause their acting is believable.
Glengarry Glenn Ross is an absolute acting dream, nobody watches that movie for the plot. Absolutely amazing acting with Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin, and Kevin Spacey... just great great movie
