Has anyone here ever used other trading sites? I used a site called playerchain before this one, and the site randomly closed down! It sucks because I had over a thousand credits on there [:'(]  But the good thing that happened out of that is that I found goozex and it's a much better site!

Speaking of which, did anybody use a site called switchhouse? That was a cool trading side that you got to trade games movies and CDs directly for the same. You could even set up trades like a real life fallout 2 and trade multiple things for other things. But that site shut down too, probably because it was a free service.

I have not, but I would almost be willing to bet those other sites shut down because there was no guarantee. I've read a few threads here where folks were talking about being screwed over on other sites. 

The guarantee really makes this site worthwhile, I know I would be fair to anyone I was to trade with, but you never know about the other guy, here it just doesn't matter.

Yep like the other have said I use CAG, although it's not specifically a trading site it still has a great community of traders there. I also use dvdtalk for movies and used gametz once for games.

I have.  I use SwapTree, SwapaDVD, SwapaCD, and PaperBackSwap.  Goozex and SwapTree are my favs though.

I used Swappingtons for books and movies. Closed a while ago though.

Swaptree isn't half bad. It's not nearly as good as Goozex, but they have supply for some things that Goozex doesn't. (e.g. more people willing to trade out DVD box sets) They do lack anything like the Goozex Guarantee though.

Really? Swaptree is lame. A bunch of people offering stuff worth crap for high valued items, and then Swaptree punishes you for not accepting trades. So annoying

I've used CAG, but only for snes games so far since I can't get them off goozex.

I used swaptree before this and loved it. The only reason I switched was because it was harder to get certain games I wanted with the way trades are done on the site. But for older games you could always find people willing to make some nice trades it seemed.
