stop picking a fight and relax or go elsewhere if you don't like the rules.  makes no difference to me.

"Lookie me!  I'm impatient! isn't that awesome?! I know you're answering my questions that aren't questions and I'm new here so i should be more respectful and chill, but I'm impatient!  as mentioned.  yeah me!" Stick out tongue

patience is an absolute requirement here, but good things come to those who wait and a hundred other platitudes you probably don't have time for.  cuz yr impatient.

and this isn't flaming, closer to telling a 3 yr old to shut the hell up, he's not getting that toy today, mommy already bought him 6 toys this week.  probably have about as much effect as well.

you have to prove yourself in a very minimal way, and you're whining? Goozex is awesome sauce, you sir, are questionable at best until you have that 30, hopefully not from 6 trades, or 10.

Wow. Can we be friends? Like best buds. Please?

But seriously...can you please point out where I was disrespectful, and deserved your sweet little tirade? Aside from poking a little fun at the guy that was pulling a "rain man" on me with the 3 trades = 30 feedback.

When's the last time you bought a game that cost $200??? Confused Now I can see something like a $60 hold until you get some feedback, but sitting around waiting for whomever to play through a game to make sure it's OK is just ridiculous.

If you do the math you can offer 3 games when you just create the account. Each game could be worth 1200 points.

1200 *3 = 3600

So you can take 3600 points out of the system without a problem to get other games.

100 point = $5

3600 points = $180

So yes I was $20 off on the credit card hold it should be $180. My bad. lol

Aaaah...now that makes more sense. I hadn't figured in the whole 3 trades at a time.

We all had to wait with our first few trades. Chill. Goozex takes a more than a little patience sometimes. You've only been a member for four days. You will get your feedback and points all in due time.

Look. From all the "chill" and "relax" comments, you guys think I'm sitting here red faced and screaming at my monitor or something. You couldn't be further from the truth. The written word can be tricky I suppose. I was simply stating my disappointment with the way the feedback/points system works, and wondering if the owner/moderator/founding father/whatever had ever considered implementing a different system.  Clearly, all of you are thoroughly pleased with the current system and see no room for improvement. I apologize for the waste of bandwidth.

It's not a bad system at all. I'd rather wait a few days, for example, to send AC2 to someone and get the point equivalent of $50, (10 dollars less than what i paid for it, but also the point value of a brand new game on here), than walk into RapeStop, uhh, I mean Gamestop, and get about 30 dollars.

I have no problem waiting for things like delivery time.  But once the game is received, how long does it really take for one to open up a case and see that the game is in fact what you requested, everything is intact and the disc is in mint condition? Is it really necessary to play through an entire game to make sure??? That's my issue. How long does it really take for a person to verify that you have received what you requested and leave the appropriate feedback?

...and before anyone asks, NO, I have not sent the member that received my game ANY messages other than the one letting him/her know the game is on the way. I do have some patience, or at least self control. But it is kinda killin me...........

Some people take forever to do things. Don't blame it on the site.

First and foremost WELCOME ABOARD the great ship of GOOZEX.

Your real question is "is there a better way than having to get 3 good trades under your belt?"  the short answer is no.  The long answer is No, because we are all gamers trying to get the best value out of our gaming budget.  Oviously you are already on your way to being a very productive member of our little community here.  However there are some less scrupulous members who scam the system.  the first few trades will take a while.  After that its GRAVY.  As you have stated you are impatient.  ("yea, yea, yea patience how long will that take?")  As it sounds in just a few weeks you will have your trades in and will have the restrictions lifted a bit.   The easiest way to justify the restrictions is to try to think like a scammer.  If you wanted to rip off the system and other gamers and this little restriciton wasn't there it would be sooooo much eaiser.  can it still happen, yes.  does it still happen, yes  is it tougher and more time consuming, definatly yes.

again welcome aboard and hope to trade with you soon.

It is more difficult when you're a new member trying to reach the 30 feedback threshold, but it will come eventually. I did notice that you said it's only been 24 hours since the game was delivered, which really isn't much time at all. The person simply could be busy and hasn't had a chance to check the game yet. For 360 owners, it's easy due to the hard drive test, but others have or like to be more thorough (even 360 owners).

Goozex is a great service that is a much better alternative to a place like GameStop. You'll reach that feedback plateau before you know it, and then you won't have to await feedback to receive your points!
