I've recently been slumming it these days in 100pt games, and I'm wondering what your take is on leaving feedback on 100pt games.  I've got a lot of games from the service, and most trades have been perfect, but it seems I find the most condition variability in the 100pt category.  Me, I'm mostly glad that folks are willing to part with games for 100pts, so I tend to be a little bit less picky.  I almost always request full package, but here are a few examples where I gave positive feedback:

Game 1: Got the Collector's edition instead of the regular edition (technically the wrong game, but who's to complain)
Game 2: Got Platinum Hits instead of original (technically a wrong game, but PH was actually at a higher value)
Game 3: Got a bundle pack with other game missing (technically a wrong game that is incomplete)
Game 4: Got a game missing the manual (technically incomplete, but I caved on a +5)

I still leave negative for: unplayable/broken/never received, etc.

I guess I run the risk of promoting bad trading behavior (sort of), but do any of you have different feedback standards for 100pt games?

absolutely not; a trade is a trade and should be completed up to expectations

Pizza guys are getting worse and worse looking. I guess all the good ones went into porn.

I've let a few 100er PC games slide without the cardboard box, but I really shouldn't I guess.  For the most part I hold the trade to the same expectations as I would any other; definitely wouldn't let material omission from the condition slide (missing manual, cd or case for example).

I would be more lenient on the condition of the actual case or manual-- maybe if it were a bit more rough around the edges than a new game. I don't expect mint condition on a 100 point item but I do expect that everything is included in a full package.. I'm surprised that you have been that kind for what is essentially the incorrect item listing.

That's encouraging bad traders

I would say sometimes I am lenient in leaving feedback for 100 point games.

I received a game with cracked case that can't be closed but the Disc was in great condition so gave +10

But I do not believe everyone is.

I received a 100 point game from goozex and left a +10 some time back. I recently sent that very same game out and the person left me a +5 saying game works but there are scratches on the disc. Well a game that had been released in 2005 and have been traded over and over here will have some scratched. As long as it works and you get the full package you should be happy. That's what I think. But anyway +5 still a positive but I won't do that.

I think anyone who is sending you a 100-150 point game is taking a loss or just breaking even and If the game is full package. The person deserves a +10.

Yeah.  That's the reason for the confession.  I was just wondering if others were committing the same sins, or if they would stick to their guns for a ~$6 game.  In a couple cases I gave some folks the benefit of the doubt due to their level of communication, but it was the bundle one that hurt the most.

The biggest pain is when I realized that I couldn't directly add the games to my stash because they don't match my original requests.

I dn't care what its value is. If I get a game without a manual, I'm leaving neutral. Leaving positive jus encourages the seller to keep abusing the system like that.

if I ever got a collector's edition instead of a regular version, I would be happry, regardless of value.

these should easily not be tolerated-
game 3 is only partially what you paid for
game 4 will probably take a while to send out now on disc only and lose some point value unless its a brand new game --it would also fetch less money if you chose to sell it on ebay or to a store. Plus you are allowing repetition of this behavior by allowing it to happen without any action

In my mind, a trade is a trade.  Feedback should be based on the same criteria regardless of the cost of the product.

But I if the issues are small (like #1 or 2 described above) the I would probably just overlook them as long as I was confident that I could trade the game out again in the condition it arrived without fear of a feedback hit.

For 3, I should have qualified that I only asked for one of the two games, not the bundle itself.  Instead of getting just that game I got the bundle minus the game I did not request.  The game and manual were fine, it was just the case that was iffy.

I've been burned only a couple times on 100pts

One game I got was clearly a previous rental store property that was filthy, disc was dirty, book was covered in literal dirt, case was broken...

I had no choice but to   + as the disc played and it was complete just not "as good as I expected"  The reality is it was the worst condition I've ever gotten any game, anywhere.  Yet still playable.  I meant to throw it in the trash but it's so dirty I don't ever want to touch it again
