Kenny007: Dargo:If I buy a sandwich from a shop I don't drop a tip in the jar at the register either. In the real world I tip for service. Selling me a sandwich and taking my money is doing your job correctly. Man I HATE those tip jars. They're springing up everywhere! Go to carryout my pizza and they want a tip!? Screw that nonsense.

I tip takeout on places I REALLY like that I want to stay in business so I can eat there delicious Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken dishes.
Gary Johnson For President 2012!
i hand delivered a game on the day it was requested because the buyer lived in my city. that's the only time i sort of expected a tip, and i got one!
TenTonHammer23: Shipping within the 1 to 3 days is a requirement, as you are committing to that. So if I sent it FCM the day I accept the trade, I'm fulfilling a requirement. That is not something that should be tip worthy if you ask me. Now if someone was to ship priority mail, that's another story. But just because someone doesn't use media mail and sends it within the 1 to 3 day thing, no. That's what you are saying with the slowest cheapest shipping though, and its just not right. Even goozex recommends you at least you FCM.

I waited nearly 2 weeks for a game then left negative feedback. The seller finally sent it and got DC. After it arrived, a full 20 days after he committed to shipping it, I was told that he was entitled to positive feedback because the game arrived in working condition. So dont tell me that 1-3 day shipping is a requirement.
I'm just saying to be appreciative. Yes we all expect that a seller will ship within 3 days. If he ships the same day...BRAVO. He can ship it by peruvian camel back slow-as-crap mail and get the same positive feedback so if he sends it priority or first class at least say thank you. If you order disk only and he sends full package, thats a great seller.
One of the problems with this site is people dont appreciate the little things. When I send priority or first class I do it so that the buyer doesnt have to wait longer to get the game. It doesn't help me at all that he gets it within 5 days of the match. I get my points as soon as I commit to ship. So yes, speedy shipping deserves much more credit than it gets, maybe not always a tip but dont laugh at the notion of tipping for it!
The buttons are there for a reason. Yes it is a requirement cause you are contractually agreeing to send out something in 1 to 3 days depending on what button you press. Sure some people don't do that, and they should feel lucky that goozex is not a site that is strict with its set up or there would be a good amount of people that abuse and would get in trouble for it. So should I appreciate that someone is doing what the click on a button agreeing to? I think its great that there are members of the site that do go beyond the requirements in a lot of cases yes, and yes, I do tip them. But I'm not gonna sit here and try to argue with you that you should show your appreciation for something that should be done anyway.
And this whole cheap slow mail thing is just stupid.
Whatever...there is a difference between a naked disk wrapped in a piece of computer paper with 3 stamps on the front (which I have gotten in the mail once before) and a disk case and manual sent in a bubble mailer inside a priority envelope. I think I appreciate option 2. And you cant tell me that you arent pleasantly surprised when a disk arrives at your house a mere 2 days after a match.
No, I'm not, cause a large group of people on this site mail it the day its accepted or the day after FCM, and it shows up 2 to 3 days later.
its actually not that hard to get a tip if you REALLY wanted one OP. When I first started using this site, I didn't even know about tips, but lately I'm trying a new method out and see whether or not I'm getting more tips. Sure enough, it happened and I'm getting tipped more than ever. Just use your head and have some patience.
The most obvious thing to do is to make sure you get matched with a person with a history of tipping, but that can be difficult at times due to Goozex's matching system. But when you do match up with someone like that, do your best to woo them lol. Good luck!
I've sent out like 2 sealed games, I have never gotten a tip, nor do I ever expect one.
If you get one, good for you, if you don't who cares?
Although I can agree with u, I've sent 2 of my limited editions in MINT condition, and also did not receive a tip for either, that grinds my gears, but screw it, I didn't expect a tip.

Yeah, pretty much. I've had stuff arrive around a week and a half into the dispute period. Shipping window is a suggestion. Period. The only way it's truely late is if it takes more than month. As for new games: I've actually sent out quite a few. I will admit I do sometimes expect a tip (like on a recent trade where the buyer had a brand new copy of a game within a day of the trade being accepted), and am sometimes bummed when I don't get one, but I don't hold it against the buyer or anything. It does, however, miff me off when they can't be bothered to take 10 seconds to type "sealed. thanks.". I mean seriously, how hard is that?
This thread's great. I've got a whole new list of people to +5 with no comment or tip when I receive a new and sealed game from them.
If you have legit sealed games you should be returning them to a store for actual money.
The arrogance of some people on this site still amazes me after being a member for awhile now. This is a grey market used game trading site that exists so we can all save ourselves a couple REAL bucks and use Goozex imaginary space bucks since we're all too cheap to just buy every game in the store when it comes out. Going out of your way to cost yourself MORE money to ship something doesn't warrant a tip.
creating a thread to complain about this is just as bad as begging the receivers for a tip. so shut up.
Receiving a game 2-3 days after the request, and receiving a sealed game goes far beyond what I've experienced on this site. If that doesn't deserve tipping, outside of hand delivery, what does? No tip, no comment? I should be able to give a negative for that.
