Goozex servers dying?

Last night was terrible. I went to request Bayonetta and ended up having to let the page load for about 20 minutes. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

i dont mind the slowness at release time at midnight, that's always gonna be slow because of the high simultaneous activity, but now it's getting slow during the day too.

It's been noticeable over the last few days.  About half the time pages will load at close to regular speed and the rest of the time it will take > 1 minute per page.

Not noticing this trend on any other sites I usually visit, so for once I can't blame Time Warner...

Well I'm glad its not just me that has problems with loading this site. Goozex has just always run slow for me. Some days are better than others, but most of the time it takes a while to load a page, especially in the forums.

It's been slow ... but I was on the internet in the 90s ... so it's bearable.

The Site all but locked up last night during release date time. I was able to get it in but man was it slow took 10 minutes to get my request in when I sent my request exactly when the game became available I should have been in like 1-10th place for Darksiders but ended up in like 30th.  I would like to know what is going on. Thanks.

That doesnt make any sense. If 40-50 other people were also sending in their request exactly when the game became available, why should you specifically have been 1-10th in line?

it has been much slower than usual but its still bearable. Although new release night this was so bad that none of the game pages would even load at all and it sent me to a server down page for about 20 minutes until it loaded back up. By then there was no chance of grabbing a nice spot for anything.

I knew the servers would be horrible for Darksiders and Bayonetta, so I preordered them both and make weekly payments.  Sometimes preordering is the most awesome layaway ever.   But yeah, if I really want a game and want it within the first 6 months of release, I don't even bother with goozex.

Guys,

    The server load is on our radar and we are working around the clock optimizing certain things to speed up areas that are affected and having slow movement.

The holidays have brought about higher traffic and we are weighing our next decisions to make appropriate adjustments.
