I just got scammed twice (user not sending the game) for the same game twice, and now I've been match with another person for the same game, BUT this time, when I click on the person's name it says "USER NOT FOUND OR DISABLED"

How can I message or communicate with the guy is they're USER NOT FOUND OR DISABLED?

I mean I REALLY REALLY don't want to get scammed TRICE with the same.

 

Also, I believe I've about to get scammed again this time with another game...3 scams in a row...awesome

There sure are a lot of a$$ lurking in this site

I leave those feedback's all the time when a user gets disabled and it won't let me leave feedback yet.  And yeah you still have to wait 48-72 hours.  Just say you're leaving negative for a disabled user in the feedback. You'll be fine.

Unfortunately, it always seems more common for illegitimate use of the site when Goozex provides the "free" promotions.  ie, scammers are likely to latch on to the *@.edu free trades and free movie trade promotions since they don't require the purchase of trade tokens.

Perhaps it would be possible for Goozex to designate that "free token" trades do not qualify for the 2 positive feedback rule.  I think this could potentially slow things down a bit... 

I've had 2 scammer issues recently, but they were easy to spot - 2-10 quick feedback given/received on the same day as they registered. In both cases all the feedback was from free DVD/HD-DVD/Bluray "trades". I simply always check the feedback of those I trade with and alert Goozex to any suspicious activity.  It stinks that points/tokens can get tied up with these things for a bit, but reporting obvious issues early is the quickest way to get your points back.  Goozex is always looking out for these things, but we can all contribute to make this a better place for trading.  Stay vigilant community!

I agree that promotions should be for people who have a certain feedback score. Maybe 100 feedback score required.

I also got matched witha  disabled user for Demon's Souls.  As per another suggestion I saw ont eh forum, I put feedback that i got a pirated/illegal copy of the game.  I wanted to speed up the process since I would've had to wait 14 days since the false user was sending from canda to US. 

My question is, however, will I be placed back into the Q where I was previously when i get my pts refunded?  My dispute has already been closed, but it said it would take 2-3 business days to refund my pts and the game has not popped back into my Q.  I would think these things would be automatic.

Once the refund is processed in 48-72 hours, you will also be placed back in the queue at the same time.

That's some great information G-Nitro, thanks for the reassurance. Waiting 2-3 days is much MUCH better than waiting 10 days. But that in itself is an issue Goozex needs to address. Maybe they should add a new Negative feedback option stating-

"I have NOT received the product - Seller's account has been disabled by Goozex."

Of course that feedback option shouldn't be available to choose in any normal trade. In fact in that situation the trade should automatically close and leave the neg feedback stated above for you; that would save a lot of trouble. I can see that this would help a lot of people, especially those who don't know the trick.

wow, I had no idea this is happening to a lot of good people here...

and Veridis, yeah I TOTALLY  agree with you...I don't want to have to wait 7 days if I KNOW that I'm not getting my games, plus, another 48hr to get my points back and my original place in line for the game....this HAS TO BE FIXED...

I think instead of leaving you thinking the obvious, why not specify exactly that the user that is disabled just simply say "User turned on Vacation mode" or if a different case, "User was banned". If they give this as an addition for open trades on users with situations like this, you don't have to assume the obvious every time, big suggestion to you guys at Goozex. I am also currently in the same shoes as u, I am waiting to receive AC2 but guess what, user disabled/or vacation mode/banned whatever, I'll never know will I?

Vacation mode does not cause your account to show as disabled.

See that I never knew I thought it did, since of course you were putting yourself off the list of requests and offers, see right there, I'm never to know if they are or not, if a user is active with a trade, then later on u hear nothing from the user because he/she went on vacation, I'll never know then. They need to put a notification somewhere to let someone know that user is away on vacation mode while left with an open trade.
