Square Enix is currently accepting beta sign-ups for the PC version of their upcoming MMO, Final Fantasy XIV. Go grab yours.

I didn't care for FFXI, but I'll still give this a shot.

All over this.  I really enjoyed 11, for about the first few months after release at which point people started to get big enough on average that the flaws of the game really started to stand out.

Thank you for the heads up Tiny :D  My wife and I played FFXI for a looooooong time, and were looking forward to the beta of this if we can get in.  I had to find my damn security token to log in though :D

Would have been interested in signing up but I'm on a mac and it's for the windows version. Maybe when they release the PS3 beta I'll try to sign up for that one.

It was kind of weird how they made a point of saying they're not accepting applications for the ps3 beta, yet, but if you signed up for the pc version, it let you sign up for the ps3 one as well, for when they do start it.

I signed up for PC... FFXI was my first MMO, got into it because of the trial that came with the ps2 hard drive bundle.. played it for a couple years non-stop.. will at least check this one out while I'm taking a break from WoW.

Well...I tried for about 10 minutes to log in after making an account to even be eligible to sign up with no success.

I have 0 interest in the title, but was hoping to get a key or two to hand out.  Now I'm returning to 'I don't give a damn' mode.

Square's User ID thing is horrible.  I had a pain changing my Playonline ID to a Square one when the security tokens come out, and had a little issue getting logged in to sign up for the beta last night.  Hopefully the game will go smoother than that.
