I'm looking for some sleeper hits that could be on any current gen system or last gen system except Gamecube, mine has since been retired and I don't have any GC controllers hanging out.

I play just about anything as long as it's fun and or has a good storyline. Except racing games I'm not all too big on them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Magna Carta 2 is the best game i've played this year and was completely overshadowed by big name titles

Pizza guys are getting worse and worse looking. I guess all the good ones went into porn.

Thanks for the quick responses! I loved Dreamfall it was a terrific game. No More Heroes, The Darkness and The Bourne Conspiracy were all excellent games as well.

I'll have to check out Magna Carta 2. I haven't heard of it until recently.  I've been on the fence about WET it's in my hold queue so I may have to activate it.

I have been thinking about picking this up. I know a lot of reviewers slamed this game. But i trust a fellow gamers opinion over them anyday.

My fav's from last gen, all Xbox:

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
Beyond Good & Evil
Raze's Hell
Gunvalkyrie
Psychonauts
Metal Arms
Psi Ops

Almost forgot Freedom Fighters and Armed & Dangerous - how can you not love a game where one of the weapons is a land shark gun?

Culdcept Saga for 360 (or one of the other games in the series; I know there's also a PS2 version called just Culdcept). Monopoly mixed with Magic: The Gathering. Honestly, probably one of the strangest blends of genres I've ever played. But it's very interesting.

Ghost Squad for Wii: Good, straightforward light-gun style game. Best played with the Wii zapper. Short if you only want to play through once, but it increases the challenge as you go, and has plenty of unlockables to keep you playing.

Earth Defense Force 2017 for 360: Get it if you can stomach cheese, because you get a lot of it in this game. It's a fast-paced shooter, very fun, gives you lots of reason to come back (namely, weapons; there's a LOT of them). However, it's only single-player or split screen co-op. Great for a guy like me that refuses to go Gold, but could turn some people off.

I wasn't too big on Culdcept Saga. Just couldn't get into it. As for Earth Defense I would love to try it but it's not available on Goozex right now. It is in my request queue though.

This list is pretty good as far as tough to find games! I personally could not stand Tao Feng, but Phantom Dust is one of my all time favorite games. Breakdown kinda seems like the precursor to Mirror's Edge, looking back. It's an excellent game.

Deus Ex is good, but I still recommend buying it on the PC, as it performs better.

Psy-ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Second Sight are also good ones :)

I personally love Tim Schaefer, so, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Psychonauts, and Brutal Legend all get high recommendations from me!

Im surprised some of our "holy than thou" members haven't come on the forum yet to tell you how big of noobs you guys all are for listing these games. I'm not saying you are, just every other time a similar thread to this has been posted a few people fell they have to flex their video game knowledge muscles.

By the way mister mosquito is a lot of fun.

*sigh* we have some of those gamers on here? Tsk tsk tsk.

And you are right, Mister Mosquito is fun in a very bizarre way. Did you ever play Mad Maestro? It was imported and launched in the US at the same time as Mister Mosquito.

I also found Fairytale Fights hilarious and charming, even though it just came out on 360 and PS3.

Threads of Fate is a pretty fun Action RPG from Square that fell between the cracks since it came out around the same time as Legend of Mana and FF IX.

I would love to play both Mister Mosquito and Threads of Fate but both are just plain hard to get on Goozex. I could probably pick them up elsewhere for a decent price. I'm hoping Square will release more on the PSN.

I'm thinking I might play through Abe's Odessy again. That was a lot of fun if I remember right.
