Now that you have the confirm shipment change in effect, and you get your instant points like that now, how many people actually confirm shipping? I have 10 games at least in my trade section that are being shipped, but only two are confirmed. At least 3 of them are on the default "shipped on ____" cause the 3 days are up. So, how do you do it?
I haven't changed anything. I hit confirm shipped the instant I've got it in a blue box.
Out of my nearly 50 games sent, I've only got one that hasn't been confirmed. Why wasn't that one confirmed? The fellow gave me a +10 (With TIP!) immediately upon my acceptance to ship out...lol. I was not afforded the opportunity to confirm anything, and even had to PM the fellow to get his address. Nice guy though!

I confirm shipment after I visit Canada Post. So nothing has changed.

I always did confirm shipping. It's just common courtesy.
As soon as I have a deliver confirmation or customs #, it's confirmed shipped. If it's within the states, and I bought the label through paypal, I tell them which day I bought the postage for, so they know when to expect it to have actually gone out.

Ditto. I've always felt it's the right thing to do to let the buyer know the game is actually on the way so they can anticipate that.

Yes I do but then again I have never sent a game out and not confirmed shipped and provided DC number. It's just not that much of a hassle and I know as a buyer I really appreciate it when the seller does the same.
Same as always for me as well. I use Paypal shipping - I'm surprised that just about everyone doing US to US isn't since it's cheapest by a decent bit. As soon as I have the DC #, I confirm it and put in the DC #.

I think this new change is great. Someone didn't confirm shipping after 5 days and I looked and saw he was scamming. I wouldn't have been tipped off if the idiot had just confirmed shipping

I had this happen once.. they gave feedback right away, and I sent a PM to get the address.. and the next thing I know the account had been deleted before I got a response.
nothing has changed on my end. it sucks now that traders confirm shipped then dont ship it for another week. makes it hard to tell if anything is actually going to show up
