I just confirmed shipping after dropping a game off in a mailbox, and I was wondering about what I'd be matched up for next.

I guess I'm just curious as to how Goozex works this system. I have 700 points and 3 trade tokens, so I'm wondering how does Goozex pick out the right items on my "want" list to match me with the right seller in order to ensure I'll have enough points to pay for everything? It's obviously not EXACTLY first come first serve, because if it was you could have a situation where, because of how many points I have, I get matched up for 3 blu-rays at about 250-350 each, and what if each person I was matched with accepted the trade? I wouldn't have enough points to cover it, so obviously Goozex's system keeps it from going over balance.

I'm just curious as to how that system works exactly, I'm interested in that stuff. They should have a "How it works" show kind of like the "How it's made" show on science channel. I'd be all over that.

Points are removed from your available pool as soon as the system matches you, and returned to you if the trade times out or is declined. Is that what you were looking for? Not 100% sure as your question is oddly worded.

Edit: Actually as I reread the question, I believe you're looking to know that Goozex's system performs each match individually before moving onto the next match. The order and process is a trade secret.

it doesn't make sure you have enough points for everything you kind of have to do that... it could potentially match you up for the really expensive item and then you wouldn't have enough.

Yeah, sorry about that. I'm all hopped up on cough medicine. That was the answer I was looking for, and I can understand it being a trade secret, it works really well. I'm really happy with it, I was just curious how it works. Good to know it makes sure one will match before going to the next.

Change your email to your edu one already, stoud, and save those 3 trade credits for later.  I know you're in between schools right now, but I'm sure your old one is still active, as it takes a few quarters for them to delete it.  Smile
