i thought it was more along the lines of a user thought they could say whatever they want as long as there was a smiley because nothing can be taken serious when a smiley is used
Everything you see is made out of a material called "fondant". It's kind of like an edible clay, made from marshmallow, water, and sugar. That's right, everything was made and colored BY HAND!!!

Great cake! Those pictures remind me of those cake design contests on Food Network. I like the Life 7 signifying that your son is turning 7 years old. By the way, what kind of cake is underneath all that fondant? :)
Good catch, Zenverse! Yeah, she really put a lot of thought into those details. I think the bottom layer was chocolate, the middle was white cake, and the topper was chocolate again, all with lots of buttercream icing between to keep it moist!

I def like the Super Mario Galaxy cake. the molded model scene is a great touch. It brings the cake to life. So much better than all the lame old rice paper picture/photo cakes. :)
