RB Beatles on guitar was one of the most pure and fun gaming experiences I've ever had.

On the other hand, L4D1 and 2 are bloody good fun with 4 on 4 versus.

Saving up the bolts i needed in Ratchet & Clank 1 to get the Ryhno for the last boss. The gun was beyond over powered so the boss died like nothin. Or playing Super Mario World on my SNES when i was 4 which got me hooked to games

Probably Halo 2.  In the dorms at Oxford all the rooms were networked so we'd have huge gaming parties.  Second is probably goldeneye for 64, that brings back great childhood memories.  And last is Starcraft.  I'm hard just thinking about playing some SC.

Currently most fun game is Demon's Souls. Between raiding, killing raiders, coop and grinding, the game just keeps it so mixed up that you never have a chance to get bored! Second place would be L4D2 for a current one.

Something from my past, I'd say Jet Grind Radio on Dreamcast.

Most fun I ever had in a game? One night me and three friends jumped on Little Big Planet and did a coop session in the creation area. We just built stuff and flew it around and tested it out. The funny shenigans that happened far outweighed anything that ever happened in a proper level. I think I laughed for like 3 hours straight. My body hurt the next day I laughed so hard.

If "fun" can also mean something that can also be gamer rage inducing, i'll give a nod to Demon's Souls and CoD4/MW2 multiplayer.  DS allows me to revisit conventions usually reserved for MMOs - grinding, farming and looting.  Beyond that there is a significant feeling of accomplishment from overcoming the odds - so long as you don't throw your controller in frustration first.  CoD4/MW2 multiplayer is like a spiritual successor to Goldeneye/Perfect Dark or the original Halo - I can just keep playing it for hours on end, although there are days it can frustrate you.  Then again, going 30-2 on a map heals all wounds.

For straight up fun without the frustration I'd go with Katamari.  There is something very Zen about playing it and I always enjoy myself.

The first few months of playing Guitar Hero, bumping up the difficulty was blissful.  A similar thing happened when I got the drums a few months ago.

Just about any game you can co-op with a few buddies, recently Borderlands, NSMB Wii, hell played Damnation with a buddy, as crappy as that game was, it was fun with him.

Def Co-op on The Warriors for Ps2. My friend and I spent so much time playing and replaying and just crushin skulls. If the Ps3 backward compatible rumors come true the first thing im doing is re-buying that game.

Many of my best memories have come from multiplayer gaming, specifically MMOs but that was probably more due to the people than the game itself... its really hard to choose because so many games were memorable...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Bust a Move back in the day... my friends and I would sit around for hours when I get that dueling each other

PM me your email for a Lockerz invite... still have 20 to give out for Z list status):

If you thought that was fun, check out Postal II for the PC. You can use a cat as a silencer for your shotgun.

Right now the most fun I've had with a game I played would be either be Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Goldeneye, or Borderlands.
