Sup dudes,
So I requested a full package for the Dark Knight (Gift Box) that includes that nifty Batpod souvenir. I noticed there was only one person who was giving the full package out at the time so I immediately jumped onto it.
Well, apparently the guy wasn't ready to send it out so he left the time limit go down to zero. Oddly after, I was matched with someone else after. I was pretty happy.
As I'm currently waiting for it to show up on my door, JUST LAST NIGHT, I noticed in my request queue for the Gift Box, it has me down for DISC ONLY? Wtf?? I never requested that. In fact, the page I go to view the Dark Knight (Gift Box) has me down for "Full package". I uploaded an image to show this, grab.by/HrD As you can see, "Full Package" is highlighted and it's currently in my requests.
This is what I'm seeing in my current request queue: grab.by/HrG I .. never .. requested "Disc Only". In fact, this makes me upset because "Disc Only" means that I'm getting the regular Blu-ray disc that comes in ANY OTHER Dark Knight Blu-ray package. He's actually getting MORE points for this for no apparent reason, which is almost like tricking the system.
Sure, I should have paid more attention to my request before hand but I didn't expect the Goozex system to switch my decision from "Full Package" to "Disc Only". What a trick! Currently, the package I'm supposed to receive is coming my way shortly but I have asked for it to be cancelled and I would be willing to ship the disc back.
How did something like that happen?
(This topic is also in the Help section)
That ain't bizarre...
THIS is bizarre.
That's a pretty odd image, indeed. But right now, I'm looking for assistance, not a laugh. But good picture.
The first picture really doesn't indicate what you requested it as. As soon as you're matched you are removed from the queue.
I'd send the potential seller a PM asking them to let it time out or if they accept, send them a trade cancellation.
Beyond that I'd send an email to help@goozex.com to see if there might be some issue with the recent update. Be as descriptive as possible.

Have you checked your default shipping options? It may be set to disc only, in which case you will have to manually select full package when you add an item to your requests. You can change your default settings by clicking on "my account" and scroll down to shipping options. Your first screenshot showing full package is just showing what everyone else has requested, not yours specifically.
@cheeznrice The first image does indicate what I requested it as. Look underneath the image and notice the Movie selection preference. It's green for "Full Package."
The "Disc Only" option is to the far left.
@misschiefmaker Ah, well, everything I get is full package, so it's by default in my account options.

My apologies - I wasn't able to provide an answer, so I was just trying to do what I do best - provide comic relief.

I'm aware of what is below. However, if you took that screen pic while you were matched you would not be included in the "Requested as" category. As I said before, you are temporarily removed from the queue and are placed in the "Trading Now" category.
When you added the movie did you use the "Instant Match" feature?

that's what i'm thinking happened. He used the instant match feature and didn't catch that it changes your default option when there's another option available.
Pm me your email addy for Lockerz invite have 9 left redemption coming soon
@cheeznrice I see what you mean about the "Full package" thing. But to answer your question, I had the Gift box in my Hold queue initially because I didn't have enough points to put it down right away. Every day, I checked the supply window to see if there were any full packages available. When one was available -- and at the time, luckily, I had points -- I set mine request to available.
The first person I was set with was the person who had their full package. But he never accepted the request. The next person I was set with did accept the request, so I thought Awesome.
This is why I didn't notice it until last night that it was Disc Only because I never request Disc only. So I suppose it can't be the Instant Match function.
Sleebs:So I suppose it can't be the Instant Match function
That's ruled out.
I'd fire off an email to help@goozex.com to see if they can assist you. PM the potential seller as well.
