Hello,  I'm currently the seller in an active trade for UFC '09 for the PS3.  I printed a shipping label through Goozex, clicked the confirm shipped button, and dropped off the package in the mail last Friday.  Anyways, I received a private message from the buyer on Wednesday (11/18) saying that I shipped to the wrong address.  I went back to review the trade and sure enough the addresses do not match (although both addresses were for the same state, MO).

I've printed shipping labels through Goozex a few times before, and I don't recall it ever giving me the option of altering the shipping address in anyway.  So, I don't know what happened.  Could it have been a system glitch that caused the error?

My 2nd theory is that the buyer just changed the shipping address after I had already printed the label and mailed the game out.  I just checked out his goozex history and while he has been an active Goozex seller, he hasn't received a game since June '08.  So I'm thinking that perhaps he moved and forgot to change his address until it was too late.

I responded to his PM, but he hasn't responded. Anyways, I have a perfect rating on Goozex. And I don't want to get negative feedback on something that I didn't do wrong.

If you printed it through Goozex, it printed out the exact address that the recipient has listed in his profile, so if he says you should have mailed it somewhere else, that's his fault for not keeping his profile address current, not yours.  Goozex shoudl be able to confirm this too, that you used their shipping label printout and since it comes with DC, there'll be a second source for verification.

Yeah, he would have had to change it after you sent it for it to be the wrong address.  If he hasn't traded anything since 08, and youre the first one, he has probably moved and noticed after you sent it.  Did you have your return address as your own, or goozex?

Thank you for the responses everyone.  I got the answer that I was hoping for.  Hammer23, I used the goozex return address, so if the game gets returned, it won't be coming back to be.  I still haven't received a message from the buyer since he told me that I shipped to the wrong address.  So I'm guessing that he knows that he is in the wrong here.

Since you used the goozex return address, send a mail over to help@goozex.com and explain the situation, and give them his username etc so they know whats up with the game showing up.  Then the user can get goozex to send him the game at his cost in trade credits, etc.
