In the US mail fraud is a federal offense so if Goozex chooses they can involve the police and such.

In the US mail fraud is a federal offense so if Goozex chooses they can involve the police and such.

I can't get to pages 2-3 because of the poll thing, but outside of faking trades is there something else he's done?    If he's using the auto point feature once you get to certain feedback and stealing games with those, that might be able to get a theft charge.   I dunno if you'd be able to get felony mail fraud though.

He "sent" out about 50 high demand games and for the last 3 weeks has been raking in games by the boatload.  He recieved something like 40 games and movies in the last 2 weeks and likely has many more on the way.  After acsguitar left him a negative he created an account to trade with to leave a positive to try to make it look like he is still sending out games.  I would say he probably stole about $1000 worth of games and movies if not more.  I think that if Goozex tried they would be able to get a charge to stick with this guy.  I dont know if it would be worth it for them to charge him though.  Either way he is gone and I am happy, thanks for helping get rid of a scammer acsguitar.

he got a TON of games and I felt bad cause I thought I might be wrong for accusing him and then I saw him making up users to trade with. I hope goozex  charges him

BTW the dude isn't smart. his PSN name is AoC83 as well. Feel free to add him and only say nice things to him

Awesome. Glad this worked out. Hilarious that he's got the same PSN ID - they've got to have enough to track this guy down for theft.  

I fully agree with you leaving the negative early, despite the number of people that disagree with this. Some people disagreed when I was doing the same thing, but you can always straighten out an unnecessary negative later. The act of leaving a negative does nothing to damage a user's reputation - it's what happens after that that determines it. This gets things moving faster and helps shut down a scammer earlier.    You can look at the comments in my sent games history for Madden 09 - I wasn't using DC at the time and the package got wet screwing up the address so it finally got bounced back to me the day the user left a negative.   I had kept in constant contact with the user during the whole thing so he waited until the last time he could to leave negative, and when it got back to me I overnighted the thing USPS Express and he was able to overturn it without even getting Goozex involved.     You aren't hurting honest and good traders when you leave a negative - they can still fix it.

My Motto: Leave negative at day 10 (the soonest you can) when people aren't responding to PM's and you don't have the game. It's the right thing to do! :)

yea I know.....Sometimes I think certain games hate me. Not demon's souls though. That game loves me. It's coming back from G-Nitro!

Yea thats what I figure. It just annoys me...it's quite a rollercoaster following a package. Shipping from work seems reliable though. My work Mail man is always the same dude. My home has a new guy every day
