I think this site needs to function a a little better. I dont check this site every day and should be informed if one of my requests come up. Telling me that you have sent 2 notices and that ive missed a trade is only going to piss me and others off if they  /I dont get a notice.

Goozex is pretty fool proof.  You can set when you get these notices by changing your preferences located under 'My Account' (or click here)so you can top up your tokens/points if you have active requests.

If you're a seller you have 26 hours to accept a trade and an email notification is sent to the email account you have listed informing you that you have been matched to send somebody a game/movie.  Again, fool proof unless of course your spam blocker is redirecting these notifications.

Because Goozex likes to make you feel bad for not trading more and giving them more money, so they show you what you COULD have had...if you'd have just...given them money...and the excellent deals you would have gotten them for, too!

 

Goozex is such a tease. :(

I know I can buy points and how to do so. I just want to be let know that a disc i reguested is available so I can do something about it. I can find nothing that I need to set for this.

This is not how Goozex works. Goozex works based off an automatic match up system. You have active requests and when one comes available, Goozex tries to match you. If you are without tokens, that is your fault and responsibility. Majority of the users on this site do not have this problem. I suggest you read or re-read the FAQ and How It Works. It is obvious you do not understand how it works.

I think you need to read the how it works and FAQ sections more clearly because you obviously don't understand the site. Also, is it that hard to check the site once a day?

The reason for this is because the Goozex system is built on a speedy, list-and-forget system. If you have the points and tokens when the game becomes available, you're matched. If not, it goes to the next person.

Adding an additional waiting period where users could replenish their accounts would slow down the entire system.

I think you misread your email. Goozex wouldn't have sent 2 notices about being matched as a buyer. They would have sent you one notice, had you actually been matched and the seller confirmed. There is also one notice per week that lists the trades you would have been matched for, if you'd had enough points and tokens.

You are receiving this email because you have an "active" request for the items above, but you do not have enough points or trade tokens. In order to get products on Goozex you need the right amount of points and 1 trade token per product.

It implies that 2 notices were sent. That is what im questioning. By the way thank you to everyone who has added helpful information about this on this thread.

That is stating that if you had 50 more points in your account you would have been matched to recieve that movie.  But since you didnt the person in line after you got matched for it.

It means that twice the movie was available to you but you were skipped over.
