Normally this would work, but the oldest kid turns 6 this year.   She's young enough that she still believes in Santa, and old enough that she's not going to fall for some trickery.    So if I give it to myself early, it can't be considered a Xmas present.  

I usually tell the kids that I asked santa to get more for my kids instead of myself and that is why I didn't get anything.... *hint hint*

 

That's pretty much how it worked when I was younger.  My parents never got anything from Santa themselves that I can recall, but rather from other family members.

Santa brings crap for our parakeet.     Not like he's going to forget Mom and Dad.

Maybe.  As it stands, you won't be able to test it or at least install it to the hard drive in time to leave feedback. Shouldn't be a problem on a game that just released, but luck'll have it that the one time you just look at it and assume it's fine is the one time it'll be a bunk disc.

On the other hand, that'd suck to get your big present early.

Fairly certain this one is going to be good.   If I were to leave a negative,  I might end up sending it back to the person I received it from.  

It's funny how we aren't allowed to say names here, yet I saw who you was sending you the game on the trading activity tab.  I'm pretty sure GTeam members will be able to give you a clean copy.

lol I've been considering 'converting' as well.  All of the higher management here is Jewish, which is cool, but a bit unfair as they get all their holidays off IN ADDITION to all of the regularly observed holidays.  I want double paid holidays, but I fear that there may be a quiz.

Just matched for L4D2 with a reputable user I'm confident I'll be getting the game from.    Just when I was getting over not being able to play MW2 yet.     AaaaaAAAAaaaaaAAAAAaaaaaa.....

And the torture ends - PS3 version has arrived.   I guess the shipper ran out of packing tape and used hockey tape on some parts.   I didn't notice, because I ripped it open and ran down to my console so quickly.    Now there's a small chance I won't suck by the time I play on Xbox and can get some decent stats.   Very small, but non zero.

I can also proudly say I didn't use my Xbox except to test the games and hard drive that came for it.  And now that'll get easier to do.

Unfortunately MW2 is not a great game to use as a Live sample. IW heavily gimped the party chat feature.

Well, fortunately L4D2 showed up yesterday.    So that solves that problem too.
