Just finished Batman : AA this weekend, AWESOME game, I highly recommend it to those who haven't played yet.  Also completed MW2 singleplayer, that was a great experience as well.  Been spending a lot of time on DAO but that's gonna be quite a while till it's finished.

Wildo88:

I am in the process of completing Resident Evil : Umbrella Chronciles on the Wii,

I have been stuck at the end boss forever

Is it the end boss for the 1-player only missions?  I think I have finished all the co-op ones.  This game is underrated IMO.

I just finished Borderlands this last weekend on the PS3.

I am in the process of completing Resident Evil : Umbrella Chronciles on the Wii, and about 65% through the first Uncharted.  Then i have BF : Bad Company and Bioshock lined up on the PS3.

I have four more bronze trophies to earn in Borderlands before I get my first platinum as well.

Hooray for your first plat incoming!  I've heard that it's impossible to get it on Battlefield though.

Uncharted is an enjoyable plat too.

I don't think I will be platting Bad Company; there is one online trophy for 10,002 kills and I just don't think that is feasible.  My plan is to finish the game on normal, try it on hard and see if I can get some more, and maybe give some multiplayer a shot.  But odds are I will just trade it away after I beat it.  I am first in line to trade it and its the same price as I bought it for, so it should hopefully work out to a nice $3 rental.

I'm not sure if I will plat Uncharted either, since I am borrowing it from some guy at work.  Plus, I am not a fan of having to use guides, and I don't think I will find the 60 treasures without one.  Smile

I finished my first playthrough of borderlands two days ago.  Not sure if I will ever touch it again.  It was a great game but I might just trade it out.

That's exactly what I did.  If I hear good things about the DLC and have the itch to be a loot-whore again,I'll pick it up again.

Finished up Shadow of the Colossus over the last weekend. Started up Final Fantasy IX. Hope I can finish it before I pick up a new PS3 and start getting into MW2...

Final Fantasy IX is one of my favorites.  It seems to pay homage to the old days of Final Fantasy III (VI), and is very enjoyable.

I think you should have no problem getting through that game in quick fashion - especially if you avoid the card game...

Finished the "hero" playthrough on Infamous last week. Almost done with the "infamous" side now. Have all but a couple trophies.

Not sure what to jump on next. I have both Arkham Asylum and Uncharted 2 on the shelf.

Yeah, I really like the characters in it, and the skill/item system is pretty neat. FFIII (DS) and FFX were my two favorites before this one, so this one is right up there with them. I think I prefer the story and characters in this game over FFX (though I do love Rikku).

I'm generally a slow RPG player, as I like to take my time and find all the cool items on my first play through as for most RPGs, I rarely have the time to play twice.

I really wanted to like FFX, but the pacing just seemed too slow for me.  However, there was one change in FFX that I'd love to bring back to the earlier Final Fantasy games - the fast paced battle system and being able to see which characters will attack next and whether specials would change the attack queue.

If I remember correctly, I think I was able to get through FFIX in about 30 hours or so.  Then again, I'm far from being a completionist - just don't care about finding every single ultimate item, etc.

I didn't really have anything good to play a little bit ago so I finally finished Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It's very difficult in places, but it is also very satisfying and well done.

The battle system in FFX was really good, and I love the sphere grid. It definitely is a slowly evolving story, though.
One of my complaints with the FF series of late is that they never really seemed to have moved on from FFVII. That game was so popular that they always seem to just rehash that one theme they had. But then, I guess the first few games were also similar (aside from FFII which I never liked and couldn't finish) in that respect, what with the 4 Warriors of Light and various crystals and a "Darkness."

I actually picked FFIX as my next FF game to play  because I thought Vivi looked awesome on the cover. He's the coolest black mage in the FF games I've played through. Oh and it's a good thing you're not a completionist...cause there's a sword in FFIX that requires you to nearly beat the game in under 12 hours to get it...I'm not even going to bother...

I'm on disc 1 still, with about 11 hours logged, though admittedly I've had quite a bit of idle time due to outside distractions. Reminds me of my first time playing FFVII, I didn't have a memory card, so I just left my PS2 on. The game was well over 99 hours by the time I beat it...

Heh heh, it's easier than you think to get that sword... I'll give you a hint - what did you do when you played FFVII?

Try doing the same thing with FFIX.  I was told that this "work-around" is effective, but I'll let you test it out.

By the way, Vivi's story is simply amazing...

Borderlands. It was really awesome until I started Dragon Age, now everything else pales in comparison. I will be finished that sometime this week I think.
