From my past few trades in and out (going by DC info) it looks like it might be hitting already; remember in the next couple months, "patients is of virtue"
I have been noticing this as well on incoming trades. One of them is taking a full week for a first class delivery within the U.S. 4 of those days spent within my own city. I wonder why it's starting so early. I don't think people are sending Christmas cards yet.

I removed Canada from my trading list today because of it. I already am having packages take over 2 weeks instead of 10 days or less like before. I don't like to, but during this time of year I am only protecting myself and keeping my stress down on dealing with the mailing speed.
About the middle of January I will reopen, as I don't want to close for good. I like sharing with my Canadian trading brothers and sisters. I just don't like doing it during the holidays.
I'll probably slow down on trading during this time

Wait to request something till after Christmas and you shouldn't have a problem. That's easier said than done though. If someone requests something from you though, just let them know that they should expect a slower delivery time.
Check out my musical endeavors!
definitely a slow down. The game I just sent out is taking about an extra 3 days longer than usual ( at least according to the DC)
Pm me your email addy for Lockerz invite have 9 left redemption coming soon
I haven't seen any slowdown on my domestic mailings outbound. Still being delivered in 1-3 days across the country.

Like...Likewise. Got a title from CA to CT in 2 days, actually a day or two faster than normal.

Hmm... Now you got me worried. I opened up to Canada a few weeks ago. These past few days I've been matched to 5 Canadian users. What sorts of problems do you think I may face?

Mostly polar bears and rogue hockey players
Last time I was open to Canada during the holidays it was taking some trades the full 21 days to arrive, or even later. I just shut down this time of the year until the shipping speeds increase again.
As long as you keep your reciept from sending the games you will be fine. You shouldnt be too worried it just means games may take a couple of days longer to get to where they are going. Some games may take two to two and a half weeks to get where they are going but the will still get there.
I have not experienced problems with trading to Canada (yet). So I will put my faith (!) in the US and Canadian postal services. I do send items immediately and I keep all my receipts (with Customs Numbers).
So far I've sent 7 items to Canada but I have yet to be reciprocated.
Come on Canada, send me your games and movies!!!
Maybe the Gteam should make a note of this on the main page. * Note it is the Holidays which may take items awhile long to reach there destination. Or something along them lines.
