I got L4D2 on steam for 33.75 in the 4 pack deal, and played the crap out of the demo, plus got Bill's Hat from it for TF2, and the preorder bat.   AC2, bleh, AC was enough repetitive gameplay for me, don't wanna try the second.

I pre-ordered both.

AC2 through Gamestop, and L4D2 here on Goozex through Amazon for 1800 points

I'm very excited for Assassin's Creed 2. I loved the first game, and I didn't really find it too repetitive, like most people say. That's probably because I didn't rush through it. I took my time and beat it in about a month. I loved the swordplay action and assassinations. And the idea of being a Hashshashin during the Crusades is awesome! The new game looks even better, with more story, better fights, and more varied gameplay. This is probably gonna be my game of the year.

I liked Left 4 Dead, but I quickly got bored with it. It had no story whatsoever, and I thought that made Valve lazy. There were only a handful of guns and only 5 special infected. I beat the game with a friend in a few days (only a couple hours a night) and most of that time was spent in a corner, holding down the trigger and yawning. It let me live out my zombie killing dreams, but after a few hundred "Pills Here!", I shut off the game. I might buy L4D 2, or I might just wait a year for the next one, because we know they'll have the 3rd one next November.

Definitely AC2 for me. The wife ordered it as an early christmas present, and I can't wait to get it. Loved the first one.

I can see the appeal of L4D2, but do most of my gaming solo or local MP -- don't have enough gamer friends that play on 360. Otherwise I'd probably be addicted to zombie killing.

I felt the same way about AC1. I played through it doing about 1 assassination each week, so it took me a couple of months to beat it.

That game, to me, really highlighted a problem -- or at least a blindspot -- of the typical review process of just blasting through a game. Some games benefit from playing straight through, others suffer. If your only goal is to see the final cut-scene, you probably wouldn't take the time to just wandering around on your horse and throwing guards off of high towers.

AC2 has my money. I don't know many people picking up L4D2 and I loved AC1. Then again, I will probably wait to buy either because I know I would just wind up playing MW2.

I'll end up playing MW2 eventually, but L4D is my kind of shooter.  I'm not too fond of shooters, but that zombie killin just calls to me.  Borderlands' RPS style really entices me too.  My plan is to play Borderlands on ps3, L4D2 on pc, and not feel a need to play MW2 until there's a ready supply.

From what I'm seeing, MW2 for the PC will not be trade able, much like L4D for the PC isn't. It's Steam registered, so it's not trade able.

If I'm going to play a FPS, I prefer to do it on the PC, WASD for movement, mouse for aiming/shooting. Cool

Im more looking forward to AC2 as I think itll be longer. I bought L4D last year when it came out, I played the L4D2 demo last week, didnt like it.

I never played assassins creed so I cant say anything good or bad about it but I did play the original L4D nad it was waaaaaaaay to short. It only had 4 levels and now they are putting out another one and its only been like a year or so which makes me think that this one will also be super short. The first one was fun but it got old too quick due to the very short story and repetitive nature of the gameplay. I will still request it though because it was definitely fun playing it for awhile.

AC2 for me.  I know I'm not on the popular train for saying this, but I just didn't like LFD.  I bought it, was super excited, played both solo campaigns and online and...well, nothing, really.  Wave after wave of zombies, I guess I just don't get it :( Which is my loss really, because everybody else seems so into it.  Played the LFD2 demo and was equally unimpressed.  Then again, found the first AC to be repetative too, so I'm pretty wary of the second one.

Supposedly, from the few reviews I've read, AC2 corrects all the wrongdoings of AC, a game they deemed a great presentation, but poorly executed (the original AC that is).  I'm quite hopeful myself, but I'll still probably opt to get it here rather than buy it outright.
