My wife watches V. That's as geek as she's going to get, which is at least a small step in the right direction ;)
cheeznrice: Shesnrice has conquered my territory then. We started dating back in college (seven years ago) and she had absolutely no interest in video games which was great. It was something I could do with my friends or by myself. Then she saw me play Kingdom Hearts and my gaming time has decreased ever since Working for a living has nothing to do with it

I solved that issue by buying her a second PS3.

Getting your girlfriend or wife to take an interest in game is one of the best ways to get her to be more tolerant of your gaming habits. Tetris, Puzzle League, Amplitude, Guitar Hero 2, and the Rock Band series have been godsends for me. I've even gotten her to try Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk under the premise that they're mystery/lawyer games and she likes Law & Order.

break all her fingers, cant play with broken fingers
cheeznrice:For the most part shesnrice is pretty good about it. She had a habit of trying to talk to me while I was gaming, but the TB X31's took care of that
Zenverse: I got so annoyed at having to play with no sound, that I bought the X1 headsets. T
you should've worked it so that he paid for them
3 360's for the 2 of you? What's the third one for?
Back in the day my wife played RPGs such as Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, Chrono Cross, Mario & Luigi. Also the Layton series and the Phoenix Wright series. She doesn't play as much anymore but I'm still a proud husband.

At least she tried...
Part 2: Walking around Walmart earlier tonight, we saw a Lego Millenium Falcon on the shelf, and she asked if that was a UFO...
I really need to make her watch the original Star Wars trilogy (IV-VI).
Seriously though, the Millenium Falcon is a UFO???

well if you can't identify it, it is.
My wife could probably kick anyone here's ass is Super Mario I. She can't play anything else, but they had very few games in their family of 10 so she's a pro at that one.
Although, I was addicted to Age of Empires for a short while so she kind of picked that one up by default. I could take her into a ladder match and do OK back in the day, so she'd still hold her own there I bet.
She pretty much hates any Sci-Fi stuff, but my daughter is a huge Vader fan so I've got that going for me.

LOL, you may be right. It's probably my fault for having her watch the first few seasons of X-Files with me the last month or so...

Grounds for a break-up, right there.
I hope, for the sake of any future children you may have, that you inject a healthy dose of Star Wars into this seemingly doomed relationship.
