Played some more last night and I have to say I thing the MW2 maps are MUCH better than most of the COD4 maps. They seem to have more depth and vareity. In COD4, it seemed like too many of the maps just always ran into a single choke point, but in MW2, there seems to be more ways to move around the map - of course this means you have to watch you back 24/7. Only map I don't really like is the ski lodge map - though it might be a good map for something like demolition where players switch sides or HQ where players have to move instead of camping. Just my two cents.

Vaporware.
Story of my life...lol.
lol. Yeah, I kept on checking but it was delayed again and again. I was beginning to think it'd never happen. Then last night I got a midnight release! Luckily, I was the only one in line!!

Played some Spec Ops Singleplayer last night (Because I have to wait another month or so before ATandT will get me High-Speed Internet so I can get Live, but then again They might not get me HSI For a While.) and I reccommend that eveyone Try to play SP Special Ops. It's really Challenging.

Haven't checked out Spec Ops yet, and don't have the time to get on and check it out right now. What is it exactly? Is it like being given certain objectives on maps or something? I think it'd be neat if they added a feature like Rainbow Six's Terrorist Hunts (name?) or GRAW's quick skirmish maps. I like doing that stuff to bone up on skills and just wipe out CPU opponents to buff my ego. Unfortunately Rainbow Six's Terrorist Hunt missions were hard as hell so that didn't help me much...but they were still fun.
Tales of Vesperia is better than either one.

mafafu: Tales of Vesperia is better than either one.
Dragon Age is also better than either MW
G-Nitro: mafafu: Tales of Vesperia is better than either one. Dragon Age is also better than either MW
I hate myself for not being able to get into either of those games. I tried very hard for Tales of Vesperia since i heard so much good stuff about it but alas, Anime repels me. Sorry G-Nitro!

I cant say for sure, but that's how I feel of Dragon Age when I look at it. I thought it was a single hero game, kind of like Demon's Souls or something, but it looks like it resembles Baulder's Gate, Icewind Dale, etc etc. Games I used to play the hell out of back when they were new, but I'm not sure I'm drawn to that sort of RPG now. I may give the game a look once it comes down though, as I do remember enjoying those style of games.

Dragon Age is the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate. That is what Bioware has pushed this game as. And it is freaking awesome. Need more convincing. My review on it. :D http://aggrogamer.com/article/1572/Review-Dragon-Age-Origins

Spec Ops is 23 Shorter Missions and on each one ther are 3 Stars Possible to earn, 69 in all. Some Require 2 Players and some are easier to complete with 2 Players. The Higher difficulty or Better you do the More Stars. I really Recommend it to anyone and Everyone.
I likd MW2, but Battlefield Bad Company 2 will rule them all.
Yeah - its sort of like that. You have a map and certain objectives. For example, the very first spec ops is to clear the firing range from the SP mission in the quickest time possible. finishing it gets you one star, under 45 secs gets you two and under 35 secs gets you three. You use the stars to unlock more spec ops challenges.
The other spec ops I've played are a map in favella where it's kind of like 30 against one. You have to clear the section of enemies in the favella. VERY good for building your reaction and skills - good target practice. The amount of stars you get depends on the difficulty level.
The third one I played, you were a sniper and you have to fight off several waves of enemies using your rifle, mines and you also get occasional predator missile launches.
The most fun one I played if fighting your way across a huge broken suspension bridge - good action!!! YOU MUST TRY THIS ONE.
I need to get a friend and try this in co-op.
Also, these levels are good practice without having to deal with getting crushed in MP.
not a fair question.... the newer game will always win a poll like this unless it's clearly inferior.
ask again in 6 months once the hype dies down. (which is about the time I'll decide if I even want to try the game anyways)
