just did a movie instant match and I still have my tokens so it must still be going on

I just got a trade and no token taken.  Please extend this Goozex for another month!

I read somewhere this is going til the end of february.  but now i can't remember where i read it.

If you look on the main movie page and click to the 2nd main banner or wait for it to change it says Feb 28.

I guess Goozex doesn't need our money any more. Hooray!

Looks like Goozex pulled the old bait and switch routine regarding this promo. No longer are movie trades free from tokens it appears. What I don't understand is why they switched it all of a sudden without any notice. I had two trades lined up yesterday and didn't have to use token toward them. Both trades timed out, but I was matched up with different users for the same movies. Now I have had 2 trades removed off my ticker. What happened? Seems like the old bait & switch considering there was a big sign saying trades were free until the end of the month. Not very happy about this.

Same thing with me.  Came on and noticed that I had zero tokens.  One was just used for a movie and the other is tied up in a trade with another movie.

Did they just up and change their mind on the Feb 28th thing?  That sucks... I requested the movies I did mainly because of the free trade thing.  If I would've known it wasn't going the full month I would've just saved my tokens for games instead...

I, too, remember seeing the banner for free movie trades extended until Feb. 28 last week. The banner is gone now. Thankfully I don't have any movie trades going on now and my tokens are still intact.

Any official word from Goozex?

I think there's some ball-dropping going on and some owning-up to be done.

The Free Movie trades officially ended on Feb 1st.  Sorry for any confusion that was out there regarding banners and what not.  Here's a quote from the OP on the promotion announcement way back in Nov 2009:

"Starting today through January 31, 2010 all movie trades will be FREE! That means you don't need any tokens to get movies on Goozex for the next two and half months."

What was the updated banner advertising Feb 28 about then? I know I personally saw it as did others here. It didn't just magically change itself.

The banner that was shown was a snafu on our part as a result of some mis-communication in the GTeam.  That's why it was taken down suddenly.  Again, the time line posted on the original announcement was not changed and the promotion ended on February 1st.

What also ended on February 1st was the .edu promotion.

We did extend the bonus points promotion.

Again, sorry for the confusion.
