Hi there, new user here.  I just traded off my first game ten minutes after listing it (I guess a lot of people want the new Batman game!), and I'll soon have 1,100 points to blow after the guy gets his game.  There are a bunch of games that I want to get, but they all have a wait on them.  My plan was to add a bunch of them to my "Active Requests" section and get whichever becomes available first, but what will happen if I get online one day and see that two or three became available to me at the same time?  Do I just pick one and proceed with that trade and cancel the others, or am I obligated to "purchase" all of them since I requested them and my turn came up?

Thanks.

The system will automatically pick the first one that comes available and use your points for it. You will never have to choose between multiple available games. That's why it's important to only have games you really want right now in your request queue and put the rest on hold.

And welcome to Goozex! Smile

Well if two or three of them come avaialble around the same time, you still get matched with the one that became available first first, and if you sitll have enough points leftover, you get matched with the one that became available next next.  If you get matched as a receiver you are obligated to "purchase" the item, since it was in your active requests lists.

If you do get matched to a game in your active requests lists and you decide you don't want it, you can request a cancellation to the seller, but the seller is under no obligation to accept your cancellation request.  Also, even if he does, you will go back to the end of the line after the cancellation.

Your best bet to avoid this is to put items in your on hold list until you're at a point where you're quite sure that you want the item.  You can kind of manipulate what items you get when by using the on hold list and checking every so often where you are in the line (minus restricted requests ahead of you) and then activating them when you'd be up next for the game.

I typically leave games I want no matter what and no matter when on my active requests regardless of queue position, and everything else I just activate off the on hold list at the point when I feel I want that particular game.

Ahhh... ok, so if I have 1,000 points and two 1,000 point games become available at the same time, it will work a little something like this:

1) "Alright, he has 1,000 points, he gets this game since it was first in the list."

2) "Alright, he has 0 points and his turn came up for this game... whoops, not enough points, skip him."

Rather convenient, I do say.  Thanks for the replies!

Kinda, you really can't put your game in order of how you want them. So if you have 1,000 points and say 2 game on you want list that where 1,000 points where available at the same time i am not sure which one you will get matched with but it will be one of them.

Yep, I figured it worked something like that.  I have a handful of games that I want to get through here, so I'm just going to throw them all in my active requests deal and take whichever comes up first.  L4D2 is the only game I need on release day, and I have that preordered ;)

This is the perfect approach to take with Goozex. Yes I think you'll like it here.

Not sure if you meant it this way, but be aware that, considering your second point, if you don't have enough points for a game when it becomes available to you, yes you will obviously be skipped, but you will retain your place in line.  When you do have enough points again to get that game, you will when it becomes available again.  You don't have to go back through the que again.
