DA:O is great. It makes me want to give Mass Effect a second chance. It also makes me sad because I've missed out on so many Bioware games. The last one I bought was Neverwinter Nights, and I did pirate a copy of Knights of the Old Republic, but that doesn't count. For some reason, I didn't care for Baldur's Gate, but looking back I bet I'd really like it now. I think I just didn't like it because I was horribly addicted to Ultima Online and Everquest at the time, and didn't give it a fair chance because it took away from my hunting phat lewts time.
I didn't have an xbox, and didn't game on pc from 2002/3ish until....last week, so I missed out on a lot of Bioware games. Now the trick is to figure out where to start on catching up, once I'm done with DA:O. That might be a while though, because it's so good, I want to go through it at least a couple more times. It's weird, cause I'm playing it on PC, where the achievements mean nothing, but I'm still addicted to seeing it pop up and get all giddy even though it adds nothing to my trophies or gamerscore. It'd be nice if it were a 'games for windows' and pumped my live gamerscore, but the game's so good that doesn't hinder my playing in any way shape or form.
cheeznrice: killmak:I am going to pick it up from Rogers as well when I grab the new CoD. What games did you trade in for it? Games I'll never touch anytime soon Halo 3, Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Mario Kart Wii. They still accept Fable II and CoD 4 for MW2...but they only had ps3 versions when I went. I'll hold of for the 360 version or pickup ACII. With signing up for their rewards program (required, $10) I earned enough points to get $10 off my next purchase.

I plan on trading in Gears 1, GTA IV and not sure which other one yet for DA. Also from what I have heard they are still accepting GTA IV and Quantum of Solace for MW2. If they say they wont accept it ask them to try and put it through and it will work, apparently head office got pressured into keeping those two games in the system to appease people that held onto those games just for this promotion.
Thanks for the headsup killmak. I might have to request some games...
You wouldn't happen to know if the Gears 1 offer includes the CE version would you?

I dont know if they will take the CE or not. From what I heard GTA IV works every time but some places wont let you use QoS and wont even try to scan it. However you can just come back when that employee isnt working or go to another one. From what I heard on RFD head office stated they will both work just fine for MW2 but they never said whether they will work for Assassins Creed 2. At least with GTA IV you can use it for the trade 3 if it doesnt work for assassins creed. Better be safe and use it on MW2 and have other games ready for Assassins Creed.
Also the trade 2 promotion is limited to one per customer but if you go to another store you should be able to do it again since they dont share a linked computer system.

I'm more than willing to use the trade 2 and trade 3 for MW2 and Assassin's Creed II if they'll let me. I don't really plan on playing the games I'm trading anyway. At least this way I'll get games I want for free.
We only have one store which is conveniently located close to my house. Which was good, because I forgot to put the discs in Star Ocean: The Last Hope and had to run home
