How many of these "start a topic" messages does it take?

Thought it was temporarily disabled. Seems like the forum is still getting spammed.

Looks like this has taken effect. It is SO nice to not see all of those threads in my "Posts you have not read".

This is great news thanks for the update.  See to all the people out there that says goozex won't do it because it costs "money" looks like you are all wrong.

Or were we?  :) We've been asking for this change for many months now... resource management is an ongoing issue for any software development stream.

Oh gosh... I doubt I can get our developers to stop playing COD MW2 to do this....

In a potentially unrelated story, productivity in North America has dropped 20% this week.  Infinity Ward/Activision have yet to comment.

On topic: It makes me very happy not to see the "start a topic" threads littering the forums.

Well that is easy to fix, like EA laying off 1,500 peeps etc... Big corporations can instantly improve productivity by laying off workers.  Remaining workers are now in fear for their jobs, work harder, and longer, and expect less bonus or pay raises.

Oldest trick in the book, it's just so sad that mega rich tax cutter lobbyists have convinced half of the voting public that this is "freedom" and the "american way".   

I'm in the boat of workers that have not been laid off, but I work at a company that is in the top rated of all time, so they pay us well for overworking us.  Same old story tho, no one complains, the VPs make millions on single day stock transactions, the execs and board are making more money than ever... and all we ever hear about is improving efficiency etc...

If Goozex were a big company, they'd fix the various board issues in a month, then lay off the entire development team that fixed it, and tell the remaining staff it's now their job to maintain it, for less pay than the old dev staff got, and no bonuses.

But goozex is not EA ... :) IDK how it goes down.

My cheeky "MW2 cutting into production" comment got turned into a jump off for an all too valid statement about evils of corporate culture/ capitalism.

I'm still seeing these topics pop up but I see no way to get to the button. How are the threads being started? Is there some other trigger?
