I have this on my request list. Should I be embarrassed?
i have it requested too, but on hold. folks i know that have actually played the game say it's terrible.
I could not even finish ach whoring it, as it reeked of lameness.

No, of course not...there are MANY terrible games out there, this is just one of them. It's pretty bad, about as bad as Turning Point: Fall of Liberty was. But if you want a cheap way to increase your GamerScrore, this would do nicely.
I ended up playing it last weekend, and while it wasn't great it wasn't the worst game I had ever played either.
What?! Really? What's worse? This is probably the worst game i've ever played....
There are worse games. Vampire Rain and Monster Madness come to mind. In terms of playability, this bad boy actually isn't THAT crappy, but it still sucks. And @Patriot65108, I hate you for bringing up turning point. I remember the last day of school running out to buy a copy, sooooo stoked to play it... then it was one of the biggest dissapointments I've EVER PLAYED. But is it better than HoV?

While playing HoV I frequently found myself debating if it was as "good" as Turning Point, or worse. My findings were inconclusive; both games actually have some good sequences, but on the whole are pretty forgettable.
Compared to Monster Madness though, both are masterpieces.
Did hour of victory have ANY good moments? I mean Turning Point was a rollercoaster in terms of "good" (started great, got crappy, got good again about halfway through, then ended with a fart)
Maybe I had no real expectations from HoV, other than I expected it to suck. Yet IGN for one scored it higher than turning point. Go figure...
Monster Madness however deserves to burn, but i'm not going to go into detail on THAT one, as I have a lot to say (see signature to know why).
