Anyone else having to leave a lot more negitive feedback than they use to? - Not sure if this should be under Help & Support but I wasn't sure where else to put it.

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a what seems like a decent increase in bad trades, like accounts that are closed or disabled after they are matched with you, which of course ends up with no game coming to you, things just not being sent, seriously bad conditions, etc?

I don't trade that much compared to a lot of people here and last month I had to leave 4 negatives, just had to leave one now and might have an other to leave as well.  Maybe it's just my luck at the moment.. actually I do hope that's the case, but just thought it'd be nice to hear if others felt like they where seeing an increase in this sort of thing as well.

....and yeah yeah, douchbag, pie, and all the above Stick out tongue... I really am just curious to know if others feel like there's a small increase too.

I've had those kinds of streaks but lately I've been getting everything. I think we all get those now and then. It happens sadly.

nope.  knock on wood but I have yet to have to leave a neg.  One neutral, no insert on a movie and less than great condition.  of course, I have one "on the way"  as far as I know, maybe a little late already, maybe my first neg who knows?  not bragging,  some people are bound to experience an unusual amount of bad trades, law of averages, hopefully you will get a few tip worthy trades instead next month, sealed brand new.  also hopefully I will not be one of the unlucky ones.

Okay, starting to sound like it's not any kind of system wide increase, so that's a very good thing to look forward to!

Bring'em on!  And that's nice of you to say.

I don't know if you know, but watch out for that, because a LOT of dvd's don't even come with inserts brand new sealed!  So unless you know that that movie is suppose to have one it might be best to talk with the seller about it, I know I have quite a few and actually every blu-ray I have gotten has had no inserts, I think they are trying to save money on both.

I remember when we started movie trading my big question was how to list movies if they didn't have inserts or if I had bought them used and didn't know for sure if they where suppose to have one originally.. and the answers where, even from the staff themselves, that listing it full package was fine... anyone know if that has changed?  Because I thought it woud be best if they did box + disc, but it was judged too difficult and that it was okay to mark them full package if you where pretty sure or knew they didn't orginally come with an insert.  I just message everyone anyway to be sure they don't mind since it seems the best way to go... not that I get that many dvd trades now, I'm just not one for 100 point trades really most of the time.

Most Blu-rays that I purchase come with an insert explaining that the Blu-ray is manufactured to the highest quality specifications and that if you have trouble, you should update your firmware.

I could care less if a trader included that insert with my Blu-ray when it arrives. It's worthless.

Not that I throw it out--I just leave it in the package and ignore it--but it's not like it adds any value to your movie-watching experience. It's just a way to prevent returns from Blu n00bs.

Inserts are not required unless specified on the box it comes with one. If it was because it came with no slip inside with the chapter listing, that should be a positive.  If it was supposed to come with an insert with a letter from the director, or commentary, behind the scenes. Then yes it should be, but those are usually small booklets.

Not all DVDs come with inserts and most don't now

Confirming as well with my fellow posters here, you can't give anything less than +10 if there is no insert inside a film EXCEPT if there was suppose to be a special insert from a director or collectors thing. Pretty much all DVDs and BRs that I buy now have no inserts so to expect that is like expecting a used trade to be in shrinkwraped.

If it was just no insert and considering the condition, the worst he could have given was a +5. But anyway, I think I may have to give my first negative to a new user who may not have sent my game out yet (or sent it really late). I just got my first warning email from goozex about leaving feedback and sent the user a PM asking what the status was. If I don't receive it by the 11th, I will have no choice. =(

It was spongebob squarepants the movie on DVD, and the seller didn't dispute the neutral.  that was released a few years ago.  I had a new DVD sold that had no insert, but I made sure to PM the buyer before accepting the trade, he did but at the last second.  I might not neutral someone who warned me before hand, cuz then the "expectations" factor is different.  might get a +5.

He should have disputed it. Once again, normal inserts are not required. I would have fought you on it. You are abusing feedback

besides it wasn;t just the insert missing it was substantially scratched and the artwork was damaged along the edge.  it was a poor package, and it deserved a neutral.  I agree I shouldn't have given a negative, but I have plenty of DVD movies listed as disc only because I bought them used and they never had the insert.  Almost every DVD you buy new does have a chapter listing at least, and that is included in full package.  Disc + Manual, would be the disc + this insert maybe the artwork, but as it was designed for video games, it doesn't quite translate.  Like I said , the gut didn' t even dispute the neutral, so he knew.  He still gets his points, and I;m stuck with a mostly untradeable in the same condition as requested movie (gift for my nephew wasn't planning on trading, but I can't really wrap it up as is) .  = neutral to me, don't really care if your opinion differs.  there's plenty of room for interpretation.  besides neutral should be +0 , -0, -10 feedback is negative not neutral.  misnomer

Wrong, many of the DVDs I buy recently have no inserts at all. And poor condition, buy playable is still a +5. You are pretty much openly admitting to falsifying feedback because you were upset at the condition.

Like others have said, which you don't seem to understand, Inserts are only required amongst certani cases where special mini-booklets are included, or are specified on the cover insert.

I hope the G-Team sends you a nice warning on your feedback practices. Keep doing that and someone will dispute you and you will get in trouble for constantly doing so.
