That's what he is telling me my only option is....short of keeping the game. It's pretty funny to watch him try to bluff his way out of this. Apparently he thinks that since I've only been here since February and have a feedback score of 165 I fell off the turnip truck yesterday and will swallow his bullshit without question. Too bad for him I have all the cards and I know it.

It's quite easy to see who he is.  I just checked your trading profile to find out who you left a negative on :)  One person I will not trade with in the future on the off chance that I'm matched with him.  What a loser.

hey yeah the negative is showing up publicly now. I guess that means it's official?

The dispute auto-closed but Goozex has yet to make a decision....we both escalated it at different points. The final word on this is probably going to come down sometime this week. I fail to see how he is going to get out from under the neg as the game alone is damning evidence he's a scammer. Punching the UPC on the case into the site's search engine brings up the product page for the standard edition of ODST....there is only one way to account for that.

Why are they requesting the game?  The issue isn't that you claimed the game was unplayable.  The issue was you didnt receive an integral part of the package.

Because, unless he's willing to pay the points, and forego the negative, he has to send the game to goozex.  They'll send it to the seller if he pays to have it shipped back to him.  You don't get to have your points back and keep the game.  They have to verify that it has a upc and that it is the standard edition too, I assume.

Makes sense.  Then if the seller does want the game back and pays to have it shipped back to him, is he charged with 2 shipping costs? (1 from the buyer to Goozex, and 1 from Goozex back to the seller?)

I cannot have it both ways....if I want the neg to stick and get my points and position in the que back, I need to send in the game. What's ironic about this is that if he had been honest and I had gotten this as a request for the standard edition I probably would have tipped him.....the game itself is like new.

Sent the game to Goozex today.....now all there is to do is await the final decision.
