I had been practicing because I knew about this party and I knew it was gonna be hype with tons of fly girls there. So after this rapper kid I know (pretty decent) got done, I get on stage and asked everyone to get their hands up, but everyone just kind of stood there. I think my tone was too light. So then I had the DJ que up some of the ed lover dance song and I gyrated and moved my pelvis up and down like Ed Lover used to do with his Lover Dance. One girl in the front row had her hand on her mouth and turned away, another was red and laughing. Nobody was moving and most everyone at this point had turned toward their neighbor to talk or was just standing there. Finally after my dance number, I walked off to a very very light applause and a good smattering of boos and laughter. I went home ashamed and at some halloween candy and went to bed.
Is it bad that I have a mental picture of Erkle with pants pulled up to his underarms and suspenders? Or is it accurate? Just curious.
