I was good at what I did and was one of the more human people you could talk to - despite being mistaken for a machine on a few occasions. I've moved on, but I have alot of sympathy for CSRs despite more than a few coworkers propagating the stereotype of "Customer Disservice". FYI, Comcast was not my employer, so I take no responsibility for your cable troubles.
...and this guy was my replacement, Mechazawa006.

WTF???? that is really disturbing and funny at the same time.
When I type a long response, switch windows to check something, switch back and hit backspace to make a change only to have the page 'Go back one page'

I HATE the cliche' "It is what it is". It is usually in a conversation where some tool does not want to address a problem and finds it easier to dismiss it as unaviodable. Even if something is unavoidable, don't blow it off like that.
God I hate it when people say that.

It is what it is.
C'mon.. somebody had to do it.

Hehehe, I was going to do it, but something shiny distracted me.

I hear that on a daily basis while at work, and feel the same way about it! "It is what it is." Uh, duh?
Another annoying phrase: "I could care less." Wrong in nearly every case that it's used. The correct phrase is "I couldn't care less" implying that you don't care at all. If you say you could care less, then obviously you care to a degree and you're likely using the phrase incorrectly. This one's really bad because I actually hear it on TV pretty often, further spreading the wrongness.

That's one of my pet peeves as well. Hate hearing it used incorrectly. Unfortunately, I rarely hear it used any other way. Makes me a sad panda.

I could care less if it makes you a sad panda.

'It is what it is' is a great term. I use that all the time. I don't use it in the way that bugs you, though, if that makes it any better. It's a phrase I picked up back when I sold cars, and I do use it to dismiss something, but I use it to say, in so many words, that whatever the person wanted to talk about is not up for renegotiation.
