I requested a complete copy of Collector's Edition World in Conflict. I was marginally interested in the game, but far more interested in the Collector's Edition bonus: an actual piece of the Berlin Wall. I made sure to request it as complete since, as a high school history teacher, that piece of history would be awesome. I received it in the mail, but it was missing the Berlin Wall piece. I contacted the sender, and have not received a response. Am I correct in figuring that this would justify a negative feedback?

My personal opinion would be a negative, but unfortunately it's neutral in current system. Your best bet is probably contacting goozex for a trade cancelation.

I was thinking of requesting the CE for the same reason (well I want the game also), but I assumed that this would happen. The right thing to do would be leave neutral unless you get a response.

I wonder though, how big would the piece be?

Sadly its a neutral, all you can do is ask to cancel the trade and pay to ship it back. I doubt they other user will accept the cancel but its worth a shot.I do have my personal beliefs that something like this sould be a negative. But by the law of Goozex it is not.

If you have plenty of time before you need to leave feedback fire off an email to feedback@goozex.com with the following details:

  • Your name
  • Your ID and role
  • Seller's ID
  • Game traded
  • What happened with the trade
  • Include any and all correspondence with the seller

A case could be made that the wrong product was shipped, but I'm not entirely sure how strong that case would be.  I'd recommend checking with the CS department prior to leaving feedback.

My thoughts as well; you've been had.  Unfortunately, officially a neutral is all you've got.

A shame, as I own the CE version myself.  The piece of the wall is small, but neat, and the History Channel DVD on the Berlin Wall was a good watch as well.

That's a bummer man. I've got a few pieces of the wall myself. One was from when my sister went to Germany and the other from when I was in Berlin I bought a piece. I remember the store I bought it from, it was called Box out Berlin or something like that. But anyway they abbreviated the sign and it was BOB so I thought that was pretty cool since that is my name.

I was a little worried about that myself, but given the size of the wall, and the general size of the pieces sold (my wall piece in particular is about a square inch), I'm sure they're is a lot to go around.  Then again, they could be doing just that; quite profitable.
