just as the subject says, are 100 point movie/game worth sending? 100 point in goozexx is 5 bux. To send it, you pay around 2.50 $ for postage + bubble mailer. isnt it more of a waste of bubble mailer?

you have to figure you may get 50 cents for a 100 point game if you trade it in at gamestop. And like a lot of other users on here buy there bubble mailers in bulk so they run around 15-20 cents per. Plus it helps your feedback score if that matters at all.

Goozex points aren't real money.

if they are just sitting around collecting dust then they arent worth much of anything anyways. Its worth sending it out to add an extra 100 points in your point pool towards something else you want to play. Besides if someone wants to play it and you dont then its of better use for them to have it instead of you.  Goozex points can usually be recycled once they are accumulated.

Plenty of people send and receive 100 point games, but it's really up to you though.  Chances are the game is worth more than 100 points to the person receiving it...

The search bar suggests that they ARE worth sending!

A 100 point game is likely worth nothing to Gamestop, pennies on Ebay, and nothing on your shelf.  Why not send it off, make a few G-points, and pad the account and trade totals.  Many of my inbound trades are 100ers.

Postage can be made cheaper if you go though PayPal directly. I think you can still send for around $2.20. Or you can go even cheaper by sending D+M only. Which might save a few more pennies.

In the end, you are investing a few bucks to get something that for you is greater value. I got a few games and movies at 100pts. Some I threw back in the trading pool at the same amount of pts others I kept.

Think of it this way, even if you invest a total of 5$ for 100pts, whatever is in your request is worth a lot more to you than 5$. Even if you end up not liking the game you received, it comes at the same price of renting it at Blockbuster. In the end you always come up either even or on top.

The way I figure it, 100 point games are usually ones I haven't played in quite a while, like my stack of old original X-Box games.  Trading 4 of them costs ~$10 total in shipping, and then I can turn that around and get some pretty good games at that point point.  Recently, I have grabbed Bioshock, BF Bad Company, Rock Band, RE : Umbrella Chronicles, and a few others for 400 points or less.  Those have been some pretty good games that I would think nothing of paying $11 for at a used game store, but I get them delivered to me, and after I beat them its pretty easy to turn around and re-trade them.

It helps alot to use PayPal shipping too.  I think if I had to go to the post office each time I mailed a game it would be more of a detriment, but weighing a package on my kitchen scale, printing the postage, and dropping it in the outgoing mail at my work takes like 5 minutes, so its a lot more convenient.

A 100 point game is typically one that I'd no longer be playing, so if someone wants and can enjoy it, it is certainly worth sending out in my opinion.

This is the way I see it:

100pt game--$4 in shipping and packagin

10 x 100pt games=$40.00

1000pt game is generally $59.99 in stores...you got yours for $40..worst case scenario, you come out ahead $20.

I love sending and recieving 100 point games. 100 points can make a huge difference in getting a game. 300 point ps3 games aren't nearly as good as 450 point ones

Hmm...

It probably isn't the best way to earn points, but is still the best way to get value from your old games.  Also you boost your feedback score and reputation, have a chance to earn a 50 point bonus (rare but can happen), and make another gamer really happy to get the game they've been looking for.

Seems like good gamer karma all around!

here in canada... shipping a game costs 2.06 after the taxes... soo not too bad... also what i have found is that its easy to reuse bubble envelopes so i actually havent had to by any myself to send games as i make sure the ones i reuse r in good condition...

i have purchased a couple of 100 point games.. havent sent one tho...although i was upset once when i got syphon filter because i wanted the regular edition but it came greatest hits.. nothing i can do about that tho :(
