I have 1150 points, and i was wondering what games you guys would recommend to me for the PS3.
Get in line for Demon Souls i hear a lot of good things about that game.

At 1150, you have the pick of any title you want. Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls are great options, though you'll likely be in line for a while for both.
If you're a trophy hunter, there are plenty of titles in the 400-500 range that make for some easy platinums.

I got a quick platinum from Alone in the Dark, currently at 400 points. It's a pretty solid game, I like how the story is told (almost like a TV series), and the game isn't bad start to finish. The trophy comes naturally with play, something I also enjoy.
Currently I'm working on Eat Lead, still 500 points I believe. The humor in the game is top notch, and the gameplay is pretty solid for a cover-based shooter. I mainly am drawn to the humor and the story though, which have had me laughing a time or two. I've yet to beat it on the hardest mode, something I'm not looking forward too, but supposedly this is a moderate plat to get.
Another one I havent tried yet is the new Terminator game, at 400-500. This one I've heard is really only worth the trophy though, that the game isn't terribly great. However, I think the trophy list is REALLY short; essentially beating the game on Hard once will net you the plat, so it may be a quick turnaround.
With some hot new titles in my lap (I bought both UC2 and DS), my leisurely trophy hunting has slowed down a bit, but I've had a good time with the first two on that list. At least Goozex makes it relatively cheap to pursue such an endeavor.
i have uncharted 2 i really enjoy it. I have heard good thingss about DS but i am thinking about getting it. possibly killzone 2 or resistance
Still haven't got to play KZ2 yet...and I've been in line since day 1 (I could have had it by now, but by the time it was available to me the price began to fall so I'm waiting).
I had R2 for a while and while it was pretty cool, the multiplayer facet seemed more like a clusterf*** of gunfire than anything else. I still intend on getting it again, but it was one of those titles I got at 1000 points, only to see it immediately begin to fall in price weekly, so I pushed it back out to wait out the price fall.
my friend has KZ2, its really fun. i used to have resistance 2 but i didn't have psn at the time and theres only so much you can do with the singleplayer mode. i decided to trade it and then i figured id get it back when i got psn again. however, i heard that the cooperative was real fun.
I enjoyed Killzone 2. The multiplayer was blah though. The one game I would recomend if you havent played it yet would be Ratchet and Clank: Future Tools of Destruction. I have yet to meet a Ratchet and Clank game I didnt like (excluding the psp games).

I keep flirting with the idea of getting that game myself. I'm strongly considering getting the new one, so maybe I should get that one first.

The series is great and for 500 points for the first one you cant go wrong. I dont think you will see it go much lower than that for a while.
If you're a baseball fan, MLB 09: The Show is pretty amazing. I've lost weeks of my life to it.

I agree. im waiting for crack in time to lower, and then ill get it. but tools of destruction is highly reccomended by me. It is very fun all the way through. and once you beat it, you can play it on challenge mode, which is even more fun.
