Just stand downwind of Goozex when they announce a change.

Atleast they are giving us something. I hope they put this out there for the rest of us soon.

It's about time.  I thought this was going to be implemented WAY back when in a slightly different manner.  I thought they were going to tie in rewards with achievements.

I blame the Passaic River for North Jersey's smelliness. Makes me glad I don't have to hang around Rutgers Newark anymore. But in turn, you can blame the factories for polluting the Passaic River. Thank you factories!

This is the first I've ever heard of it, but it is nice to see some sort of reward.

I remember when my wife (G/F at the time) moved into her dorm freshman year.  I was like, "Oh you have a nice view of the river...Wait a minute...Why is the water all brown?"

I can see them giving out a very, very small amount of MS points for acheivements, as an incentive to gamers to purchase more games, but it seems pretty unlikely, since few people will make a financial decision of purchasing a game simply for the points. Companies never give out incentives that don't directly benefit them with a larger volume of sales.

The "cashback" kind of reward with points for buying things on Live is a pretty smart move, though. People who play both systems are more likely to purchase multiplatform games on Live instead of PSN, if it gets implimented (Like Bionic Commando Rearmed.)

 

Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, my second paragraph applies nicely to multiplatform titles that aren't downloadable. If you are faced with the choice between MW2, for example, you're going to be more likely to buy it on Xbox if you have a financial incentive, rather than on the Playstation. (Sorry, I'm tired. Just back from University)
