I never played the original (aside from a demo) but I'm looking forward to this one.
I just read this morning that a demo is available via Steam and XBL Gold.

MP-only games don't do it for me anymore.
already pre-ordered. The $20 from CoD4 will be thrown down on it. But thanks to Amazon's new promo code policy, I'll have to cancel and resubmit the pre-order. so freaking stupid....
Wasn't really into the original. Played campaigns and online and just found the constant wave after wave of zombies sort of boring after a while. Have to admit though, playing online as a zombie = awesome.

L4D2 Isn't MP only. People Enjoy it better MP, but I played the Original SP and Might pick this one up soon.
Wasn't impressed like I was with the first one so far, but I need to play more. Had a lot of lag in my initial game, and even on easy... the game is freaking hard
After playing the demo, I was left unimpressed. Really felt like I was playing L4D 1.25. I will Gooz this game an maybe play some MP eventually, but not a must buy IMHO.

I played through one campaign last night with 3 friends on easy, and we were getting our butts kicked! I don't know how we'll ever get through it on expert. It's insanely difficult. It was a lot of fun though, I like the new special infected, but the lag is horrible. I hope they fix it soon, cuz it's ridiculous. Unlocked 1 of 5 avatar awards, which was a lame Depeche Mode t-shirt. Hope the others are better.
We found that doing a local server instead of dedicated will usually give most people green connections, sometimes orange. Better then 1 red bar on the dedicated.
This game is a lot of fun when you get a good group going. If not then it can feel like a chore. That and when no one seems to have a mic, or they do and won't talk.
yea i hate that and i find the 1st one is better in my opinion
Just requested this and got an instant trade on it. Hope I like it more than all of you did.
