Ok cool Ps2 now on ebay...Come on uninformed soccer mom! BUY BUY BUY!

You should have done craigslist avoid those damn charges, I sell everything on craigslist

I agree, but I had more scammers contact me for my offerings on Craig's as opposed to those who were legitimately interested.  It got really annoying after awhile.

Sure I'll give you my PayPal email address before you leave for Luxembourg on a religious mission so that your son will have a PS2 w/GTA: SA...lol

I just sold my extra xbox 360 arcade with some extras for $160 off craigslist, it's easy to weed out the scammers and i always only do local cash trading

Pm me your email addy for Lockerz invite have 9 left redemption coming soon

I'm waiting for Kenny and/or DrJ to come in and say "I'd probably jump if it was $150 gift card."

Actually Sassy McSasserPants, my first question was going to be 'Can an Arcade be used as a Media Center Extender?', but now I'll comment on the enjoyment of the Xbox crowd being bent over by MS and their super-inflated HDD prices.

....MS likes raping its customer base.  /comment

I purchased my second 360 for exclusive media-center-extending purposes.

IIRC, the arcade lacks/has a tiny HDD, and no wireless adapter, right?

This deal really has my attention, as unlike one of the early posts suggesting 'It's kind of like a $99 Xbox' in my case, it almost certainly would be a $99 xbox.

I'd by $100 of random crap and then send my wife in to get the cash back for it all.  She has a knack on getting cash without a receipt from them...not that they're terribly strict to begin with.  Read a story while in a college accounting class about the need for strict return policies, with Walmart as a reference.  Someone successfully returned tires to a Walmart that apparently didn't sell tires...

Anyways, this seems like quite a steal.

You could go through all the trouble of getting cash back....or you could just buy groceries with the $100..Im assuming you still need food and Walmart is actually pretty nicely priced. Just a thought.

Yeah, it's got a tiny flash drive in it. And no wifi. I've got internet shooting around all over my house via coax and a few FIOS routers, so I don't use wifi for anything I'd like to have a reliable connection.

PlayOn was specifically awful before plugging in.

Oh no doubt, they stuck out like a sore thumb.  It was just annoying having an inbox full of bogus offers each day.  After awhile it was hard to tell who was seriously interested.

When I bought my 1st PS3, I needed wireless connectivity so the $100 for the Xbox wireless NIC was the final piece of what made me go that direction.    Now my house is wired up for GB ethernet, so I no longer have that issue.    Have to come up with a cheapy hard drive still, but I imagine that's probably doable.

Looks like the going price on ebay for a 20 GB hard drive is $30 including shipping.    $130 seems like it's finally the deal I've been waiting for.     See, I don't think the Xbox is entirely worthless.    It's about $130 away from worthless.

I would jump if I had a way of getting to a walmart (Stupid college not allowing me to have a car)

Public transportation?  Walk?

Those were always options when I was in college.

No bus goes in between campus and where the walmart is. I would have to head downtown and change buses. I really don't like the idea of carrying an xbox on a city bus either.

Walking would be about 3 miles through the hood. I would get shot or robbed in the first 3 blocks off campus in the direction of walmart

So before I go and get this mofo, I want to avoid any unpleasant surprises... this sucker doesn't have built-in wireless and doesn't have a hard drive, and so can't play my Xbox games, right?  Is there anything else ridiculously debilitating that I should know about?

No video output. You have to imagine what's going on, in your head. Wink
