Disappointing news: they're only doing 4 episodes, then they're stopping until next March where they'll do the last 9 (that are scheduled, 13 total).

I kind of hope it doesn't go much longer than that, as I'm a fan of mini-series types of shows. It lets you put in more detail than you could in a standard movie, but it doesn't get dragged on and on with weak storylines and poorly written characters, like so many other shows (Heroes) do.

But, it's also annoying that they're breaking it up with a 5 month gap.

Lame. This seems to be a growing trend. Lost and Heroes, anyone?

RAGE!  I hate when this happens.

I get super interested in a show...but the 5 month gap makes me forgot my interest in it and more often than not I don't bother with the rest...

I wonder who predicted this........refer to my earlier post. Sorry guys, i hate it when my shows get canceled (knights of prosperity) but I'm sure a new very similar series will not be far behind.

they kept doing that to prison break and the Terminator it led to those shows downfall because no one knew when they were really on. I hope heroes doesnt get the same fate. Its hard to keep to keep track of shows when they are on for 2 weeks then off for a month then come back for a few more episodes only for those to leave you hanging with a cliff hanger for another 2 months without even advertising its return.  Then when it does return they put out 2 episodes and then skip a week and insert a repeat then finally put out a another new one. They have been doing that type of crap alot lately.

It's the Turkery Day, Thanksgiving break... most shows do this every year.  Mad Men season finale is sunday for example.  Turkey day all the way through Happy New Years = SPORTS, Sports and more sports on TV.

V was pretty good last night.   The first 35 minutes were real slow, and some of the dialog was TROPE tastically bad, and the contrived way of the characters getting together or doing things like billy bad assing by riding a motorcycle on a sidewalk, during a riot... with the end result being casually leaving the bike in the middle of the street just so he can get off and look up at the ship?  Is driving 20 blocks really going to give you a better view?

I had to bring the bird upstairs to bed, hit the rest room, turns out I missed the last 10 minutes (no tivo)

My girlfriend summarized it for me, sounds like the last 10 minutes were really cool.  She said if she hadn't hung in there for the last 10 she'd never watch the show again, but now she wants to see more.

Don't forget his mother making a big deal about crossing the barricade to look for him, only to have him like 10 feet away from her.

Yeah that had us groaning big time.  The whole "angst ridden teenager on a motorcycle Terminator 2 whiny boy" trope was bad enough w/o that nonsense.
